The One I Should've Married (Stella and Sebastian) novel Chapter 50

Seeing Julian stay silent, Stella shifted her grip and seized his jaw.

"Argh—"

Instantly, Julian felt like his jawbone was about to shatter.

He instinctively tried to fight back.

But with a single, brutal twist, she immobilized him completely.

Stella arched an eyebrow. "Is it that hard of a question? Hmm?"

Julian couldn't speak.

Hard? Of course it was hard!

He was thoroughly disgusted by his marriage to her.

But if he got divorced, his life would become a living hell!

If he didn't... judging by the look in Stella's eyes, he was going to die right here on this floor!

Even under this lethal threat, Julian tried to desperately negotiate. "Can't you... can't you just give me one more chance?"

"Ahhh—! I'll do it! I'll divorce you!"

The moment his jaw was forcefully dislocated, Julian didn't dare utter another word of protest.

Hearing his surrender, Stella let go of him in utter disgust.

"You should have just said that in the first place. Dragging this out and making everyone work so hard for nothing!"

Julian was speechless.

*She* was complaining about working hard!

This damn woman...

He took a deep breath, scrambled off the floor, and backed as far away from Stella as possible.

This psychotic bitch.

Asher had watched the entire exchange from start to finish. Seeing the genuine murderous intent Stella directed at Julian brought him immense satisfaction.

Stella picked up her coffee and took a sip. "What time is it?"

She directed the question to Asher.

"It's already twelve-thirty."

"Get me something to eat. I'm starving."

After venting her fury at the Sinclair estate this morning, she had come straight here.

This place held comforting memories of her and Sebastian, temporarily soothing her volatile emotions.

Then Julian showed up, and she completely lost control again.

Refusing to get divorced? How could she accept that?

Bash had explicitly told her she needed to clean up this mess with Julian before he touched down in the city tomorrow night.

And this idiot actually had the nerve to say he wouldn't divorce her...
