The One I Should've Married (Stella and Sebastian) novel Chapter 51

She had spent three years with the Sinclairs. If it was all an act, what on earth possessed her to fake it for so long?

Julian Sinclair simply couldn't wrap his head around it over the past two days.

He was convinced Stella Channing had an ulterior motive. Otherwise, there was no way she could have kept up the charade at Sinclair Manor for that long.

"Or could it be that you marrying me three years ago was part of some hidden agenda?"

The thought crossed his mind, and Julian blurted it out.

Hearing him bring up her crazy insistence on marrying him three years ago made Stella's face darken as the unwanted memories flooded her mind.

And now Julian was asking if she had an agenda!

Stella scoffed. "I was suffering from Spiritual Amnesia. Why else would I marry a coward like you?"

Julian was speechless.

Her mouth was absolutely lethal!

Stella rolled her eyes. "An agenda? The Sinclair family was practically broke back then. What the hell did you have that I would possibly want?"

Julian fell silent.

This damn woman. He really wanted to rip her mouth right off!

He must have been out of his mind to even try talking to her...

Furious, Julian turned on his heel to leave. He couldn't stomach another second of conversation with her.

If they kept talking, she was going to give him a heart attack.

But the moment he turned around, he walked right into Vivienne Sinclair, who had come looking for him. "Julian, are you alright?"

Seeing Julian, Vivienne's voice was laced with frantic worry.

Cold sweat beaded on her forehead; clearly, she was still terrified from the earlier chaos.

When she saw the messy bandages wrapped around Julian's wrists, her blood boiled...

And then she saw the bruised finger marks around his neck!

Glaring at Stella, who was casually eating, Vivienne ground her teeth. "You laid hands on him again?"

This wretched Stella.

In the three years she lived with them, she hadn't noticed Stella had a penchant for domestic violence.

Could this even be called domestic violence? She just attacked whenever she felt like it. Vivienne had seen men hit women before.

But a woman brutally beating a man? That was a first. Stella had really opened her eyes today!

At that moment, Vivienne wished she could tear Stella to shreds...

Stella didn't even bother to look up at her. "I hit him. What are you going to do about it?"

Vivienne choked on her rage.

Arrogant. Just look at how incredibly arrogant she was acting!

Vivienne was so furious she almost passed out. "Who exactly gave you the nerve to act like this?"

"I gave it to myself. Got a problem with that?"
