The One I Should've Married (Stella and Sebastian) novel Chapter 52

She was terrifying. Absolutely terrifying.

In that moment, Vivienne could no longer doubt just how dangerous Stella was. Her voice shook as she pleaded, "Tell... tell your man to put the knife down."

She had actually ordered someone to slice Julian's throat.

Vivienne couldn't comprehend what those three years of Stella acting so submissively in the Sinclair family had even meant.

She had clearly loved Julian so much...

She had been crazy enough to force her way into marrying him!

Why did she suddenly just stop loving him? Did something happen at Westside Heights that they didn't know about?

Was she pushed over the edge?

That had to be it...

Julian's affair with Ivy Sloane had always broken her heart, and she had endured it for so long.

But what exactly was the breaking point that made her snap?

Stella tilted her head. "Not taking him with you anymore?"

Vivienne swallowed hard.

Take him? With these kinds of lethal tactics at play, who could possibly get Julian out of here?

Vivienne forced down the panic hammering in her chest and squeezed her eyes shut. "No... I'm not taking him!"

"Are you agreeing to the divorce?"

Vivienne glared. "Does it matter if I disagree?"

"So you finally figured it out? You really are stupid."

Vivienne's face flushed with humiliation.

This wretched girl was absolutely despicable.

She never missed an opportunity to step on them, did she?

Vivienne was boiling with rage, but there was absolutely nothing she could do against Stella.

Stella raised a hand, and Asher instantly pulled the tactical knife away from Julian's neck!

Even so, Vivienne and Julian's hearts were still lodged firmly in their throats.

Stella picked up her fork again, casually taking a bite of her food. "The divorce is happening today."

"And don't bother putting up a useless fight. You can't take what's mine, and conversely..."

Conversely what?

Stella looked at Vivienne, a wicked smirk curving her lips. "I'm taking back every single cent that belongs to me from the Sinclair family."

"What... what else is there to take? Didn't you already empty the house this morning?"

Hearing that Stella was still coming after the Sinclair assets, Vivienne's face drained of color.
