The One I Should've Married (Stella and Sebastian) novel Chapter 6

Perhaps out of habit, Ivy instantly used Julian's name as a shield to intimidate her.

In the past, simply mentioning him would immediately make Stella submit.

But this time, the moment the words left her mouth, Stella grabbed a fistful of her hair!

Ivy let out a piercing scream of agony.

Before she could struggle, Stella ruthlessly slammed her face against the rough stone edge of the fountain.

The abrasive stone scraped her skin, sending agonizing pain shooting through her face!

"Ah—I'll take it off! I'll do it myself!"

Faced with Stella's deadly violence, Ivy finally completely panicked, genuinely believing she might lose her hand.

She frantically unclasped the watch and handed it back.

Hearing that Ivy had crossed paths with Stella, Julian rushed outside just in time to witness the brutal scene.

He roared in fury. "Stella, what the hell are you doing? Let her go!"

He sprinted forward.

Ivy sobbed, "Julian..."

Her tone was incredibly pitiful, a sharp contrast to the arrogant provocation she had displayed just moments ago.

Stella was entirely disgusted by the fake, manipulative act.

She shoved Ivy hard to the ground. Ivy let out a painful groan as tears streamed down her face.

She was insane. Stella had completely lost her mind.

Being arrogant earlier was one thing, but acting this viciously right in front of Julian was unimaginable!

Seeing Ivy sprawled on the ground sent Julian into an absolute rage!

He closed the distance in a few massive strides, instinctively reaching down to scoop her into his arms.

But his fractured hand was completely useless, throbbing with excruciating pain.

Instead, Ivy threw herself pathetically against his chest. "Julian, please don't be mad at her. It's my fault for coming here to look for you."

They put on a sickening display of profound affection right in front of her.

Julian looked down, spotting the angry red welts on Ivy's neck from the torn necklace.

And half of her face was already noticeably swollen!

Glaring back at Stella, his eyes landed on the watch in her hand. He roared, "Have you completely lost your mind?"

Stella stepped forward and roughly brushed aside the hair covering Ivy's ears.

Spotting the earrings, she let out a dark laugh. "Are you really so broke that you can't even afford to buy your mistress her own gifts?"

Even the earrings were hers!

The sheer brutality of her humiliation hit them both like a freight train.
