The One I Should've Married (Stella and Sebastian) novel Chapter 63

Leaving the City Registry.

From the driver's seat, Asher looked back at Stella. "It's finally over with the Sinclair family."

Today, Asher had genuinely feared that the Sinclair elders would adamantly refuse the divorce!

Given Stella's current temper, a refusal would have absolutely resulted in a body bag.

Julian must really love Ivy to be so utterly reckless.

Even after being beaten half to death by Stella, he still dared to run his mouth for Ivy's sake!

"Over? Hah!"

Hearing the word 'over,' a psychotic smirk curled the corners of Stella's lips.

Catching a glimpse of that unhinged smile in the rearview mirror, Asher's heart skipped a beat!

What was that supposed to mean?

Stella leaned back. "How could it possibly be over?"

"I was humiliated for three years. I'm not going to let them off that easily."

The divorce was finalized, yes!

But this divorce was just the appetizer.

With the Sinclairs no longer having a legal claim to take anything from her, she now had a mountain of reasons to tear them apart!!

For example, the five hundred million dollars the Sinclair Corporation couldn't currently repay.

And... everything Lawrence had swindled from the Channing Corporation over the last three years!

Even though the Channing Corporation was currently controlled by Vincent, it didn't belong to him. Her grandparents had left it to her!

So not only was she going to rip it back from Vincent, she was going to gut the Sinclair family for everything they took!

Asher fell silent.

Hearing Stella claim she had been 'humiliated' for three years made his mouth twitch!

Whose fault was that?

She had literally thrown herself at them just to be treated like garbage... nobody forced her to do it!

And now she was demanding retribution? That made absolutely no sense. But then again... three years ago, logic was never Ms. Channing's strong suit.

If you didn't provoke her, she minded her own business!

But if some idiot crossed her, she would grind them into the dirt!!

Of course, her vendetta against the Sinclairs wasn't just about the personal humiliation.

It was also about the fact that the Sinclair Corporation was responsible for hollowing out the Channing Corporation!

Asher decided to keep his mouth shut.
