The One I Should've Married (Stella and Sebastian) novel Chapter 80

"He definitely has more guts than Mr. Channing!" Asher agreed.

Stella's laughter grew louder. "Hearing you say that, it makes me wonder if he's even Vincent's kid."

Asher remained silent.

That was... hard to say!

Neither she nor Valerie looked much like Vincent anyway.

Before Asher could reply, Stella instructed, "You know what to do, right?"

"Understood."

"I'll wait for your good news," Stella said with a light, dangerous laugh.

Her laughter pierced through the phone like a demonic echo.

Stella hung up.

Watching her brilliant, radiant smile, Kellen felt a horrifying chill crawl down his spine.

It was too similar!

The absolute madness radiating from her was identical to the psychotic aura the Boss had exuded over the past three years.

Valerie had truly lost his mind.

Even though Stella had been incredibly gentle while living with the Sinclairs, did he completely forget the absolute psycho she was three years ago?

"Valerie set that fire intending to burn you alive. That's incredibly vicious!"

"Vicious is good. If they weren't vicious, I'd have to waste time finding excuses to crush them."

Now, they were handing her the perfect excuse on a silver platter.

Kellen didn't know what to say.

Finding an excuse to crush someone? Since when was she the type to ever need an excuse?

"Did you tell Asher to just beat him up?"

"Beat him up?"

Stella looked at Kellen, her smile bright and completely innocent.

"You've been by Bash's side in the US for three years, witnessing every ruthless thing under the sun. How can you ask such a pure, kind-hearted question?"

Kellen was absolutely stunned.

Uh...

So, not just a beating?

"No, I asked because I was wondering if you needed me to handle it. I was just worried your people might be too kind!"

He genuinely feared Stella would just have the guy roughed up and call it a day.

After all, the guy literally tried to murder her.

Hearing the word "kind," Stella laughed. "Don't worry. Asher is far more vicious than you are!"

Kellen's jaw dropped!!!

...

Inside the wooden window frame, sandalwood incense curled into the air.
