Kellen nodded. "Yes. It seems Nathaniel's men reached out to him first!"
"And it's not just aimed at you. It looks like they've set their sights on Ms. Channing as well!"
Nathaniel!
Sebastian's defeated rival! Three years ago, Nathaniel controlled the entire underground market in the US.
Aside from illegal arms dealing, he was involved in arson, murder, robbery, and every vile crime imaginable. He was pure evil!
Their blood feud started over narcotics!
Anyone who knew Sebastian knew it was the one thing he absolutely despised...
That night, Sebastian intercepted a shipment heading to the city and completely dismantled Nathaniel's entire covert network!
If Nathaniel hadn't run as fast as he did, his life would have ended right there in Sebastian's hands!
It had been three years!
That bastard had been hiding in the deep western territories ever since. Now, out of nowhere, his men had contacted Lawrence.
It didn't take a genius to know this was aimed directly at Sebastian.
And not only at him, but they were targeting Stella too...
Targeting his little star? The man took a drag of his cigarette, his profile bathed in the sunlight, looking absolutely lethal!
"Have Lennox shadow her from the dark."
Lennox—the sharpest, deadliest blade hidden in Sebastian's shadows.
Kellen nodded. "Understood."
"What about Lawrence Sinclair?" Kellen asked.
At the mention of Lawrence, a brutal, ruthless sneer touched Sebastian's lips.
"Keep an eye on him. Use him to track down where that rat Nathaniel is hiding."
"If he decides to act as Nathaniel's lapdog in the city before we find him..."
Sebastian's voice dropped.
He slowly lifted his eyes, a lethal, freezing light flashing within them. "...then just kill him!"
Every single word was as cold as a frozen glacier, sending a terrifying chill through the air.
"Yes, Boss," Kellen replied.
Kellen left to arrange the security detail for Stella.
Left alone, Sebastian stared deeply out the window, watching Stella's car pull a flawless drift out of the villa's main gates.
The corners of his lips couldn't help but curve upward.
That useless coward Lawrence better not disappoint him!
