Chapter 30

Daniel’s POV-

Witnessing Olivia’s tearing down the wall that she had clearly built around herself was incredible to witness. This past week has made me fall harder for her. She is more of the wornan I always knew she could be, than I ever realized. Goes to show she just needed somewhere safe where she could truly be

herself.

Olivia has amazed me with how well she was handling her first bike. She handled it like she had been on a bike her whole life, and that impressed the hell out of all the bikers here. I had to fight back my chuckle at the way she lied to Gold about what we were going to be doing tonight. I just said alone. I do not care what we do alone, as long as I get to spend some time with her. I will take her to the movies if she wants

to go there.

Prez called church so we got home fast. CB had found something and wanted us to get back to the clubhouse so he could tell us all. When we arrived, we hurried into church. Olivia was joining us for her first church. It meant that Prez was going to give her a member cut. She was going to be one of us, there was no going back now.

We got inside and CB was already set up with his computer system. Gold had to sit up front with the rest of the higher ranking members. Mike and I had a table all our own, but now Olivia would be sitting on it as the future treasurer. It was like a table that marked us out as next in line to those of the higher ranking members. I pulled Olivia along to sit next to me. Everyone was talking, many were asking how the bike ride went, because not all the Knights were able to come/Some had to remain for security reasons. Or, in CB’s case, he had hacker work to do.

Prez banged his fist on the table and everyone went silent. “Olivia get up here.”

Olivia got up without question, and headed up towards him. When she got there, he continued, “Your first bike ride today. You are healed and can begin your training, like my son, like Dragon’s son. From this day, you will be a member of the Phoenix Knights, our future treasurer. If you choose to accept it, you are with

us for life.”

“Where else would I want to be? The Knights are my home, my family. I am not going anywhere,” she said.

“Well, then young Knight, welcome to the Phoenix Knights,” Prez said, as Gold stood up and draped a cut over Olivia’s shoulders.

Olivia slipped it on, before Gold pulled her in for a hug, and then told her to come and sit back next to me She did exactly that. The moment she was seated, Prez spoke again, “CB, you called and said you had

something.”

“I am still trying to trace who the phone belonged to, but I have hacked into all of Harry Jones‘ accounts. Emails, banks, everything. I have been using a search engine with the perimeters of Olivia’s name and the arranged marriage. So the computer would search for any mention of them. The search found an sss

“Why haven’t you hacked into this other person’s sss address yet,” Gold interrupted.

“Because he is concerned about being traced. He was hoping I could read the emails and figure out who

this person speaking with Harry could be,” Olivia spoke out.

CB chuckled, “Your daughter hit the nail on the head there. There is always a risk I could get back traced here. If she can help me in whatever way she can, it would be great. But Olivia, there is some graphic stuff written here. I don’t know whether you would want to read it all.”

Olivia chuckled, “You know my hacker handle, and I am sure you know the things out there on the dark

web. I have seen a lot.”

“Not like this, Olivia,” CB said.

“What did it say?” I growled.

CB’s eyes snapped to mine as Olivia got up and made her way over to his computer set up, to look at the emails on the screen. “Arranged marriage was a nicer way of saying that they were selling me to the highest bidder. There is a lot of discussion about what the bidders wanted to do with me. Murder because that was the only way they could get it up. To be used as a toy. To be a sex slave, the list goes on…”

I was already moving towards her as she said those things. I needed to be close to her, so she would feel safe. I could see Gold making his way over as well, wanting to protect her as any decent father should. But the moment she stopped talking, her eyes grew wider I saw her breath catch like she was about to struggle to breathe. I knew she had seen something that had upset her. I could feel how much she needed me, I could feel it from deep within me.

I rushed to her side and pulled her into my arms, and whispered, “It’s okay, I am here. Breathe for me, my

queen.”

She buried her face in my chest, clutching me tightly. I could feel her heart racing, but she still hadn’t taken a breath. “Breathe for me, my queen,” I whispered again, close to her ear. She finally did, taking in a big

breath.

“There you go, I am right here, my queen,” I whispered, continuing to comfort her.

“What was she reading?” Gold growled.

CB pointed at the screen. I skimmed over what was written in the sss. It was a very graphic description of how Harry and, whoever this was, were planning to deflower Olivia in all her holes together, if they didn’t receive payment from this person who wanted to buy her for an arranged marriage. If Harry wasn’t already dead, I would make his death last a month. He would die slowly and painfully.

But this other guy seemed to know intimate details about her growing up, like how adorable she looked as the Easter bunny for a school play when she was a kid. That was enough to churn my stomach and make me pissed off. This guy wanted to dress Olivia in a bunny costume, to make her his sexy little bunny. Then

“Princess, we all saw how you reacted, and no one is judging you for that. This is vile stuff. But do you

know the man who wrote that?” Gold asked.

“The one time he caught me at home, was the only time he ever called me little bunny,” Olivia replied.

“You think it is Harry’s brother?” Gold growled.

Olivia nodded, as I looked at CB, and growled, “You find him, and you tell me where the fuck he is because I am going to tear him apart.”

“As fast as you can, CB,” Gold added.

Olivia cleared her throat, stepping out of my arms, “I will help you, CB.”

Gold immediately spun around and said, “No, as much as I am sure you can compartmentalize this, no one expects you too. Why don’t you let Carnage take you out? Go watch a movie, get some dinner.”

Olivia nodded, “But let me do something first.”

“What is that, princess?” Gold asked.

She walked over to CB’s computer set up and began typing away on the keyboard. Her fingers tapped away faster than anything I had ever witnessed. CB and Gold were both watching what she was doing. “What are you doing?” I asked Olivia.

No response. She just kept typing. CB let out a surprised gasp, “She is completely rewriting the search algorithm that I use, she is making it a hundred times better than anything I could ever write.”

“You just needed it to be a bit more efficient is all,” Olivia finally spoke, still typing away.

“My search parameters were always so specific,” CB mumbled.

“They are good at being specific, but when you have nothing much to go on and need to cover a wide base, it can be more difficult, correct?” Olivia said, as she slowed down her typing a little.

“It has been, yes,” CB nodded.

“Well, with this programme, you will be able to find out everything you can possibly imagine on one single person solely based on their name and last known location. It literally searches every known database and every social media website, until you find everything. It isn’t exactly legal outside somewhere like the FBI or CIA, but the programme I just inputted prevents any trace being left behind. They will never know anyone was there and there is a built–in firewall currently reinforcing your current firewall so no one will be able to hack into your system,” Olivia explained to CB, who hung on every word, while the rest of the room were a mix of astonished and confused at what she had just said.

“Fuck, you are one hell of a female hacker, on top of being the perfect woman,” CB groaned.

I growled, stepping forward and pulling Olivia into my arms, her back against my chest. “She is mine.”
