As soon as Megan and I were alone in the room I share with Daniel, she shuckled as she looked around. I

raised an eyebrow at her, finding her expression amusing. “What’s so funny?”

“Well, one I never thought I would see the inside of Carnage’s bedroom, two I never thought you would

ever get to this point where you would share a room with another man,” Megan replied.

I knew what she meant. I never dated, never done anything, not even a kiss, until Daniel and I got together. He has literally been my first everything and I know we will be each other’s last everything. I nodded, with a chuckle, “I know, but he is it for me. I am his old lady and his girlfriend.”

“Girlfriend doesn’t feel right, does it? Benny’s uncle explained the meaning of old lady to me, when I heard

him use that term. I know you said you were, but I didn’t dare ask how serious that was. I didn’t want to

seem stupid,” Megan replied.

“To all the bikers here, I am Carnage’s wife. That is how serious the term old lady is, but it doesn’t feel right

being called his girlfriend. I haven’t told you yet, but he asked my dad for his blessing, partially to draw

Vargas out of hiding,” I sighed.

Megan gasped, “Do you really think Carnage will propose to you? Is Vargas the name of the man that bastard sold you to?”

“Yes, Vargas is the name. As for Carnage proposing to me, we did speak about it after he asked for his

blessing in front of every biker out there, in church, in front of me. I was a little worried that he was doing it

just to draw Vargas out of hiding. Though that is partially true, he is still doing it because it feels right. He

even said that if he had followed his heart back in freshman year, he would likely have been asking my dad

for his blessing this year anyway. So, he didn’t tell me when or how he was going to do it, but he would

soon,” I explained.

“Damn, that’s wow. I didn’t think there was a heart beneath all that rage–filled muscled wall, but then the

way he looks at you, compared to every other single woman I have ever seen approach him, should have

made it obvious that he has a heart,” Megan rambled.

I chuckled, “Oh, he has a pretty big heart, but it’s just for me.”

“Bet that is not the only thing that is big. The guy is huge in every other sense of the meaning,” she

smirked.

I rolled my eyes and nodded, “Very, how I don’t walk with a limp every single day, I do not know. But don’t think I didn’t notice, you were walking with a limp this morning, and I know you spent the night with Benny last night.”

Megan’s cheeks flushed a pink hue as she nodded, “Let’s just say Benny is well above average, and he knows how to use it. Plus, we have been trying a few new things lately. Bondage is a big turn on for us

I chuckled, opening it, as I whispered, “He already has.”

I headed off to the bathroom, already chuckling at the conversation the guys were going to have as Benny got that text. Benny was not so good at hiding his expression when he got text messages on his phone. He was going to get questioned by Daniel, Mike and Devil.

I switched the shower on, before I stripped and climbed under the spray of the shower. The moment the water hit me, my mind wandered to the flowers that arrived earlier. I knew why Megan wasn’t mentioning it anymore. No one else would mention it today at least, because it is my birthday, and I should be celebrating, not worrying about what those flowers could mean for me or anyone else here. It didn’t stop the thoughts crossing my mind. Was it a threat to kill me? Was he angry at me? Was he going to kill those I love? Or, just anyone who would get in his way?

I let the water hit my face, until I resigned myself to the fact that no matter how this Vargas comes for me, I will kill him myself. I have never thought about killing anyone before, but I want Vargas dead more than anything right now. The simple reason is that how fucking dare he threaten my family?

I washed off quickly and climbed up. I dried off and wrapped myself in my silk robe. I left my bathroom,

and Megan was right where I left her, texting away. No doubt to Benny. I chuckled, “Have you even moved?

Megan shook her head, “Benny was texting me, telling me all the things he plans to do to me tonight, because I made him get a hard on in front of Mike and Carnage, by telling him I wanted him to wake me up

by eating me out one day.”

I laughed, “I bet he had fun explaining that to them.”
