114 Chapter 114 You Are The Worst
Blanche’s POV 1
From Lillian’s tone, I could tell she was fully aware that Joanna was out there wrecking someone else’s marriage. But instead of feeling
ashamed, Lillian sounded completely righteous about it.
Even though Lillian was sick, I had zero patience left for her. With a bitter smile, I said, “You really love stirring up drama, don’t you? Is
your life so empty that you need to meddle in everyone else’s business?”
Lillian’s expression turned icy at my cutting words. “Can’t you see it yet? Zain doesn’t love you anymore. The one he cares about now is
Joanna.”
I shot Lillian a freezing stare, fury blazing in my eyes. “I don’t need you to spell it out for me. But let me remind you–this place is half
mine. If I don’t want you here, I can throw you out.
“The only reason you’re living here peacefully is because I’m letting you. You should be grateful. Got it?”
Ever since she moved into Blissfield Villa, everyone–even Zain–had been treating Lillian like royalty. But I made it crystal clear she
wasn’t welcome, and Lillian couldn’t handle it anymore.
Without caring where she was, Lillian snatched up a decorative piece and hurled it at me, screaming, “You bitch!”
I dodged just in time, and the decoration exploded on the floor. Looking down, I realized it was Carry’s treasured toy–the one Carry har
spent days assembling piece by piece.
Carry had kept that toy for a long time, never wanting to get rid of it. I remembered how I’d stayed up late with Carry, working side by
side to complete it.
Lillian realized her screw–up too late, staring at the shattered toy on the floor. She had watched Carry playing with it constantly
recently, and now, she had destroyed it. If Carry discovered this, she would definitely hold Lillian responsible.
Just then, Carry’s bright voice echoed from the doorway. “Lillian, I’m back. Look what I brought you.”
Lillian’s panic was immediate. Without hesitation, she rushed to the broken toy and collapsed on the pieces, wailing dramatically, “Ouch!
Why’d you push me?”
I turned around to see Lillian sitting on the shattered toy, sobbing and slapping her own legs, acting like a child having a meltdown.
The commotion drew Zain and Joanna’s attention, and they hurried in.
As soon as Joanna spotted Lillian on the floor, she rushed over to help her up. “Mom, what happened? How did you end up on the floor?”
Lillian, with bloodshot eyes and streaming tears, complained, “Joanna, thank God you’re here. I was just about to take my medication when Blanche stormed in, screamed at me, and shoved me.
“I fell and then she grabbed Carry’s toy to hurl at me. I ducked, and it shattered.”
Hearing Lillian’s lies, Carry, who had been clutching something in her hands, dropped it and rushed over, staring at the broken toy

fragments. “Mom, that was my favorite toy. Why did you break it?”
Carry glared at me with rage burning in her eyes.
I looked down at Carry and tried to explain, “I didn’t break it. She smashed it trying to hit me.”
Carry got even more furious, kicking me hard. “You’re the worst. Stop lying! Lillian would never break my toy. You did it, you’re the one
who broke it.”
I felt a sharp stab in my chest as I watched Carry. I smiled bitterly, saying nothing, my eyes sweeping over Lillian, Carry, and Joanna. The
pain and betrayal were obvious in my gaze.
At that moment, Zain strode over, grabbed my hand, and without a word, dragged me out of the hall. His grip was iron–tight, and I
couldn’t break free, so I let him pull me out.
Once outside the hall, Zain released my hand and snapped, “Didn’t I tell you not to come back to Blissfield Villa? Joanna’s mom is sick.
What are you trying to pull here?”
I lifted my chin and stared at him, my eyes like ice. “I just came to tell you–let’s stop dragging this out. Sign the divorce papers from
Alexander Villa and mail them to me ASAP. Preferably tonight.”
Zain frowned for a moment, then quickly smoothed out his expression. He couldn’t believe what he was hearing, but he didn’t believe I
would actually divorce him.
I loved him so much–I gave up everything, even my own family, just to be with him. And we had an adorable little girl together.
Even though the worship I once had for him was gone from my eyes, Zain convinced himself I would never ask for a divorce so easy
I didn’t stick around to say anything more. I turned and walked out without a backward glance.
Zain’s POV
I stared after her, my heart a storm of conflicting emotions. After a long pause, I pulled out my phone and called Cherry.
Cherry picked up, sounding puzzled. “Mr. Jacob, are you coming home tonight?”
I froze for a moment, then it hit me–it was that time again, the day Blanche was supposed to be ovulating. For months, we had been
trying for a second child, but suddenly, the whole plan had been scrapped.
“Mr. Jacob?” Cherry’s voice brought me back to reality.
I got straight to the point. “Did you find those papers Blanche left with you?”
Cherry hesitated. “Papers?”
I rubbed my temples, feeling slightly irritated at Cherry’s forgetfulness.
Cherry had been with me since I was a child. Even though she was getting older, I never considered letting her go. I figured she could stay with me and retire comfortably.

But lately, Cherry just wasn’t as sharp as she used to be.
As for this agreement, she’d been searching for it for quite some time and still hadn’t found it. Maybe Cherry just forgot about it and never bothered to look again.
But then, something seemed to dawn on Cherry. “Oh, that’s right. Mrs. Jacob did give me a document. I put it somewhere safe, but now I
can’t remember where. I’ve searched, but I just can’t locate it.”
I didn’t blame her. I asked patiently, “Did you happen to see what kind of document it was?”
Cherry replied, “Mr. Jacob, I’m not really literate. I couldn’t make out what it was.”
1 let out a weary sigh. “Alright, I understand. I’ll come by tomorrow.” With that, I hung up.
Just then, Joanna’s voice called out from the hall. “Zain, can you give me a hand supporting Mom?”
I tucked my phone away, still haunted by Blanche’s words and unable to shake the unease. But my immediate concern was Lillian, who
had fallen in the hall.
I quickly went to help Lillian, with Joanna on the other side, and together, we guided her back to the sofa.
Carry, still crying, was crouched on the floor collecting the pieces of her broken toy.
Lillian, looking guilty, said, “Carry, I’m so sorry. It’s my fault. I broke your toy.”
Carry wiped her tears and looked up at Lillian. “It wasn’t you, Lillian. Mom broke it.”
Lillian offered, “I’ll get you another one, okay?”
Carry shook her head. “I only want this one.”
Lillian’s eyes filled with tears. “Zain, maybe I should just go back. I’m just causing more problems by staying here.”
I gave Lillian a gentle look and said calmly, “Don’t blame yourself. None of this was your fault.”
