The Platonic Trap novel Chapter 100

After breakfast, Alistair drove Celia to Capital University.

On the university campus.

Decorations were everywhere. Banners and flyers created a dazzling, colorful display.

The annual graduation ceremony was always a massive event, highlighting how much the university valued each graduating class.

As soon as Alistair and Celia walked through the campus gates, they were stopped by a student handing out flyers.

"Excuse me, are you two looking for jobs post-graduation? If not, you should check out our part-time modeling gigs!"

The student's eyes lit up when he saw Alistair. "With your looks and build, it'd be a tragedy not to model! If you join us, we can offer you top-tier rates!"

Standing next to Alistair, Celia couldn't help but laugh out loud.

With a flyer shoved into his hand, Alistair's gaze remained calm, his brow furrowed slightly, and his thin lips pressed into a straight line.

—He wasn't very good at handling this kind of situation.

No one had ever shoved a flyer into his hands before.

Noticing the man's cold expression, the student shifted his focus to Celia. "Hey there! You're gorgeous too! You and your boyfriend are both incredibly good-looking. You'd be perfect for modeling!"

The student had mistaken them for a couple and was now pitching hard to Celia.

Celia waved her hands frantically, rushing to explain, "No, no, you misunderstood. We aren't a couple..."

Saying that, Celia gently tugged at the man's sleeve, her voice soft and panicked. "Uncle Alistair, let's go..."

Alistair was already bad at dealing with this sort of thing, and hearing the guy mistake them for a couple made him frown slightly.

He nodded, ignoring the student, and followed Celia deeper into the campus.

Along the way, Celia caught countless stares from surrounding students—some envious, some completely stunned.

"Mm."

With that, Celia turned and ran off.

Alistair walked to the very front and took the center seat. It was the exact seat Celia had sat in the last time he gave a lecture here.

Crossing his legs, Alistair's gaze was calm, his posture impeccable.

The first few rows were originally reserved for university officials and faculty.

When the university president arrived, he immediately spotted someone sitting in the center of the first row.

Frowning slightly, the president walked over. "Excuse me, this seat is reserved—"

Upon seeing the man's face clearly, the words died in his throat, and he couldn't utter a single syllable.
