“The Sowles Group can’t stay in Roy’s hands. His ambition is too big, and he’s too extreme. He’ll destroy everything.

“For my sake, come back and take control.”

Leonard didn’t answer right away.

“I know you’ve never cared about power, but you should think about your children.

“Do you want them to go through the same humiliation that you experienced today?

“Only when you hold real authority in your own hands can no one control you. Haven’t you realized that yet?”

Leonard thought of his sons, his daughter, and the humiliation he’d just endured at the Sowle Estate.

If he had no real power, Roy would never leave his children alone.

He could endure anything himself, but his children were his bottom line. He would never let Roy touch them.

“Good, good… you’re finally willing to come back.

“Stay for dinner tonight. I’ve had your old room cleaned every day…”

Seeing him standing there alone, the butler, Derek Castillo, couldn’t bear it and said gently,

“Mr. Sowle, today was a good start. There’s no need to rush. I believe it won’t be long before this house feels alive again.”

Leaning on his cane, Truman watched Leonard’s figure disappear down the hall, his strength draining

Derek hesitated before speaking.

“But if Mr. Roy finds out, he’ll make a scene.

“Leaving shares to your other children makes sense.

“But why give Ms. Larissa 20% of the company?

“If word gets out, it’ll cause trouble.
