“Chase! Don’t forget I’m your wife! Staying out late is one thing, but fooling around outside and not coming home all night? Who knows if you’ve found another woman?”

Faced with her furious accusations, Chase yanked off his tie, clearly irritated. “Katrina, can you stop interrogating me every day? If I really had another woman, do you think you’d still be sitting comfortably as Mrs. Mercer?”

Katrina let out a cold laugh. “Did you forget whose name you were calling while holding my hand last night? You called me Nina. Chase, don’t think I don’t see through you. You miss Nina, don’t you? But she might not even want you.”

“Fine. Then get out,” Chase snapped, his expression cold. “Every time, it’s the same threat- using the child. Katrina, you’re sickening.”

With that, he turned and headed upstairs without sparing her another glance.

Katrina had never been treated like this by him before.

Even before Nina came back, their arguments had only ever been over trivial matters.

But today, he’d actually let her walk away with their son?
