Chapter 47 Wanting To Get To Know You
“If you’re going to hit someone, hit me!”
Her words caught Hunter off guard. Behind her, Jensen frowned. “Nina, move.”
“No.”
She stood her ground, shielding him without a hint of backing down.
Hunter looked at her, then let out a short laugh. “Who said I was going to hit him?”
Nina froze.
“Back then, Jensen stood up for our Class C guys,” Hunter said. “I should be thanking him. Why would I hit him?”
“…What?”
Nina blinked, confused. She turned to Jensen, who was frowning slightly as well.
“You fought for their class before?” she asked quietly.
“Maybe,” he said. “Don’t really remember.”
Nina was speechless.
She looked back at Hunter, still wary. “Then why were you reaching out just now?”
“I just wanted to see how someone built like him managed to take on four guys at once.”
Realizing there was no hostility, Nina stepped aside. Hunter walked up and gave Jensen a firm pat on the shoulder.
“Not bad. I’ve been wanting to get to know you for a while.”

Jensen didn’t respond, but just then Wesley came hurrying over from the library, having just finished up there. He rushed between Jensen and Hunter, pulling them apart.
“Hey, hey–what’s going on here? Jensen’s my friend. Since when does he need to be friends with you?”
Then he leaned in and lowered his voice. “Hunter’s basically a thug from Class C. Don’t get mixed up with people like him.
Hunter let out a scoff. “Wesley? You’re from Class F–since when do you get to judge me?”
“So what if I am? I’m proud of it!” Wesley shot back, clearly not hiding his dislike.
Just then, someone in the crowd shouted, “Hunter! Chase and his girlfriend ran off!”
Hunter turned to look. Sure enough, Chase and Katrina were nowhere to be seen.
“I heard Chase hasn’t treated you too well,” Hunter said, turning back to Jensen. “Don’t worry—I’ll deal with him for you next time
He gave Jensen a light punch on the shoulder “I’m out See you tomorrow

“Who’s ‘see you tomorrow‘?” Wesley snapped, glaring at him. He grabbed Jensen like he was pulling him out of danger. “Don’t hang around Hunter. He’s bad news.”
Off to the side, Nina watched Hunter’s back as he walked away.
Strange…
If she remembered right, Hunter had fallen for Katrina at first sight.
So why did it feel like this time, he didn’t care about her at all?
Beside her, Jensen had been watching Nina the whole time. When he noticed where her attention was, he finally spoke. “Aren going home?”
Nina snapped out of it. Seeing him looking at her, she said, “The show’s over. Of course I’m going home.”
“Going home? Wait–you two are living together?” Wesley blurted, stunned.
“What do you mean by ‘living together‘? Jensen’s staying at my place right now.”
“Isn’t that the same thing?” Wesley turned and smacked Jensen on the arm. “You’ve got a girlfriend and didn’t even tell me?”
Jensen’s expression darkened. “It’s not like that.”
That only set Wesley off more. “Not like that? Are you living together without even being in a relationship? That’s worse–you’re completely irresponsible!”
