Chapter 81 You’re Going To Leave Right Now!
Katrina’s face drained of color.
Could it be… Had Chase changed his mind? Refused to pay?
If that was the case… what was she supposed to do?

Inside the Mercer house, Cecilia slammed Chase’s phone, car keys, and the bank card he had stolen from the family down on the table. “Chase! How did I end up with such a reckless son? Stealing money from your own family to give to someone else! What on earth are you thinking?”
She poked his forehead sharply. “You’re not going to school for the time being! I’ll notify them. And if I see that woman trying to seduce you again, I won’t let it slide!”
With that, Cecilia stormed upstairs in anger.
Chase, seeing his mom rush off, didn’t bother with his phone–he bolted straight for the door and ran out of the house.
Cecilia’s face darkened. She dashed down the stairs and shouted, “Chase! Come back here! I said come back!”
Without his car keys, Chase had no choice but to take the bus to school.
By the time he arrived, it was already Class C’s afternoon PE period.
The first thing he saw on the field was Katrina. He hurried over to her, and the other students in Class C, seeing Chase, stood and gave him wary, questioning looks.
Chase ignored them completely and grabbed Katrina’s hand. Her face lit up the moment she saw him. “Chase, you…”
“Katrina, listen. My mom confiscated my car keys, my bank card, and my phone. That money… I can’t access it right now.”
Katrina’s smile faded instantly at his words.
Chase continued, “This is all Nina’s doing. She just wants to make me submit to her. Fine—I’ll beg her if I have to!”
Katrina felt her strength drain away.

Seeing her silent hesitation, Chase caught on. “Don’t worry! I’m going to find Nina right now.”
With that, he sprinted toward the academic building.
Inside, Chase rushed up to the third–floor corridor and flung open the door to Class A.
All the students were quietly working on their assignments. Nina looked up and immediately spotted Chase, dressed casually in plain clothes.
“Chase! What are you doing?”
Dora frowned, clearly irritated by his reckless intrusion.
Chase’s gaze locked on Nina, his expression dark. “Ms. Reed, I’m looking for Nina!”
“Ms. Reed, it’s class time. I just want to study,” Nina said evenly, while Dora’s tone carried a sharp edge. “Chase! It’s bad enough that you’ve thrown yourself away, but Class A students are all aiming for top universities! You’re going to leave right now!”
Chase, used to acting however he pleased at school, reached for Nina’s arm. Jensen immediately grabbed his hand, his eyes cold as ice. “Chase, let go.”
“You-”
“Chase! Do you think you can just ignore me, your teacher?”
Dora rarely got angry, and all the students‘ eyes darted back and forth between her, Nina, and Chase.
The tension in the classroom was electric–everyone could feel it.
Under Dora’s firm gaze, Chase finally let go of Nina’s hand.
