Once the floor manager rushed Caleb off to the hospital, Clarissa stepped forward. "You should probably go get checked out too, Julian."
Julian, his face dark with rage, wiped a smear of blood from the corner of his mouth and muttered a terse thanks.
Caleb was severely injured. His nose was completely shattered.
Julian's head was throbbing, but he ignored it and headed straight back to the Sterling Estate.
The moment he walked through the door, he collapsed.
Sienna panicked, screaming for the staff and the driver to rush him to the hospital.

When Elara came downstairs the next morning, she noticed her mother looked like she wanted to say something but was holding back.
"What's wrong, Mom?"
"Julian... he's in the hospital."
Elara froze for a second, then replied evenly, "Oh... I see."
Seeing that her daughter didn't ask for the reason or how serious it was, Eleanor Barnes didn't say another word.
Over at Whitaker Group.
Sebastian called. "Zane, the plan's shifted slightly. We need to hold off for a bit."
"What happened?" Zane asked.
"Julian beat Caleb into the hospital last night."
"Is it serious?"
"I looked into it. He'll be hospitalized for at least a week. I doubt he'll be in the mood to sleep with any women."
Annoyed that Julian had ruined his timing, Zane asked, "What about Julian? Did he walk away without a scratch?"
"He's in the hospital too."
Zane frowned. This kind of reckless hero complex was exactly the sort of thing that made women melt. He was terrified Elara would soften her stance.
"Got it."
-
Elara had just stepped out of a meeting when Sienna's call came through.
"Elara, Julian's in the hospital. You need to come see him."
