Sebastian Whitaker wasn't just a regular professional manager.

Julian suppressed his rage. "What is this 'additional' charge?"

Sebastian offered a polite smile. "Damage fee for the private room's door."

"Is your door made of solid gold?"

Sebastian's smile didn't waver. "It's imported luxury wood. The owner said it can't be repaired, only replaced entirely."

Sebastian was a Whitaker, Zane Whitaker's cousin. Julian swallowed his anger, signed his name, and tossed the receipt back.

Once Julian walked out the door, Sebastian casually added a generous tip beneath the total, effortlessly making some extra cash.

He usually called this his 'emotional damage compensation for being yelled at.'

Handing the receipt to the front desk, Sebastian instructed, "Send this to Sterling Corporation for collection tomorrow."

Huh?

The receptionist was confused.

Zane chuckled. "I'm worried he might default on it."

The receptionist was even more perplexed. "Is Sterling going bankrupt?"

"Not exactly," Sebastian smirked. "I'm just worried he'll refuse to acknowledge it."

The receptionist was speechless.

He was the young master of the Sterling family; would he really care about pocket change?

Without wasting another breath, Sebastian pulled out his phone, stepped into a quiet corner, and called Zane Whitaker.

"You don't need to rush over," Sebastian said.

"What happened?" Zane asked, spinning the steering wheel.

"Mrs. Sterling probably isn't getting any action tonight. Mr. Sterling already came by, so you probably won't get a chance to play the hero."

"Did they fight again?" Zane asked.

"Yeah, Julian kicked a door, so I made him pay for a whole new set of doors."

Zane didn't care about that. "What about Elara?"

"She hasn't come out of the room. She's probably crying her eyes out right now."

"I'll be right there." Zane paused before reiterating his strict rule. "If they touched her hands, chop off their hands. If they touched her feet, chop off their feet."
