"No, no, no." Tara wags her index finger at him before leaning in with a conspiratorial whisper. "Charles admitted to me personally that Jade isn't his daughter. I used to think she was his, considering the secret paternity test they ran back then seemingly confirmed it."

Not only had there been a paternity test, but Jovani had intentionally orchestrated a massive illusion to convince everyone the girl belonged to the Dennis bloodline.
