"I came here for lunch, but it looks like they're totally booked," Danny says smoothly, dropping into the seat right next to Tara without an ounce of hesitation. "I hate waiting. You don't mind if I crash, do you?"
Tara stares at him. As if her opinion matters—he is already sitting down, actively crowding her against the wall.
"Are you taking up extra space on purpose? You're squishing me," she grumbles.
Danny looks outrageously handsome today, wearing a flawlessly tailored black suit over a crisp white shirt. He exudes a commanding, aristocratic elegance, and his overwhelming presence instantly shifts the atmosphere of the entire restaurant. He is so strikingly attractive that several women at nearby tables are openly staring, dying to take photos but far too intimidated by his predatory aura to actually pull out their phones.
"You don't say a word when you're out eating with another man, but I sit a little too close and you want to pick a fight?" Danny whispers hotly into her ear, his voice thick with unabashed jealousy. Tara's cheeks instantly flush a deep pink.
