"Is she going to be able to handle it all by herself?" Danny asks, knowing her worries. He hates seeing her overwork herself.

"Actually, I have a college friend moving back to the country. He studied corporate management. He's the perfect candidate," Danny offers.

"Really? That's amazing! Call him right now, I'm exhausted!" Tara lights up, thrilled by the idea. With Bianca and someone Danny trusts, she can finally breathe.

"Alright. So I'm being a huge help here. Don't I get a reward?" Danny looks at her with a deadpan, serious expression.

"Huh? What reward?" Tara blinks. This man actually has the nerve to demand a reward?

Danny leans in, tapping his strikingly handsome cheek with a long finger. His tone stays dead serious. "Some sweetness, obviously. Otherwise, I just don't have the energy to make the call."

Tara finally catches on. She bites her lip to hide a smile, cursing this sly fox in her head.

They arrive at her place, and she immediately turns to sprint to her bedroom. Danny takes two long strides, wraps his large arm around her waist, and pulls her right back against his chest.

"Trying to run? Where's my payment?"

Rolling her eyes, Tara peppers his flawless cheek with several quick kisses.

"That's it?" he raises an eyebrow.

"That's triple pay. What more do you want?" she huffs, crossing her arms. He really pushes his luck.

"Those were little pecks. I thought a kid was kissing their dad," Danny murmurs. Before she can argue, he crashes his lips onto hers.
