Danny considers her words and nods slightly. "Fair enough. I'll talk to her and see if she's willing to come over."
"And if she refuses?" Catherine demands.
"Then I'll just have to keep staying at her place."
There is absolutely no way he is sleeping in a separate bed from her.
"You! You are going to be the death of me! Get back here this weekend for dinner!" Catherine barks, realizing she is fighting a losing battle. She begrudgingly takes a step back. "Bring her with you."
"Tara was invited to the Sinclair estate this weekend, and I have to work. Let's do next week," Danny replies smoothly. Lindsay had called Tara earlier for a long chat; apparently, little Gavin was missing her terribly and wanted her over for dinner.
"Work? I bet you're only working because she won't be home!" Catherine snaps, her blood pressure spiking. They always say daughters leave the nest, but clearly, grandsons are just as bad!
"Fine! Don't come back at all!" she huffs, slamming the phone down.
