Coen looks at her intently, his expression unreadable. After a long moment of silence, he finally speaks. “You flirt with enough boy toys on a daily basis. They're the only ones who would fall for a line like that.”
He is casually calling her a player right to her face. But instead of getting angry, Bianca's eyes light up with pure delight.
“Honey, are you jealous?” she gasps happily. Jealous over her flirting with other guys?
Coen simply stares at her. Refusing to entertain this chaotic woman any further, he peels her hands off him once again and walks out of the breakroom without another word.
“Hey! Why are you running away? I was telling the truth!” she calls after him, though he doesn't even pause.
Being easily satisfied and fiercely optimistic, Bianca doesn't let his retreat dampen her spirits. In fact, she feels like they just made a massive leap forward. In the past, he would step away before she could even get close, let alone stay in a confined space with her for that long. Today, she actually got to hold onto him for a few solid minutes.
“Not bad at all. I call that progress,” she nods to herself, thoroughly impressed. The man has ironclad self-control. Here she is, a certified knockout throwing herself at him, and he still manages to hold his ground. Incredible.
Basking in her small victory, Bianca shadowboxes the air, hyping herself up. “Come on, Bianca! The revolution isn't over yet! Taking down Coen Traller is just a matter of time!” Fueled by a fresh surge of adrenaline, she grabs her coffee and skips out of the breakroom, ready to tackle the rest of her workday.
Back at her desk, her mood remains sky-high. She pulls out her phone and shoots Tara a message: “Tara! Massive development! Coen and I were alone in the breakroom, and I held his hand! He acted all annoyed, but I swear he was a little jealous! Oh, and I have a blind date this weekend—guess who the lucky guy is?”
