No one is happier than Bianca.
Not only is she charming and quick-wetted, but she also lacks the manipulative, calculating edge common in high society. As the matriarch of a wealthy dynasty, Mrs. Traller has a keen eye for character and instantly adores Bianca's straightforward, genuine nature.
This 'blind date' effectively turns into an unofficial engagement summit between the two families. While no papers are signed, it is practically a done deal in everyone's eyes. The families spend the entire day enjoying each other's company, only parting ways after a lavish dinner.
Even after everyone heads home, Bianca is still buzzing with adrenaline. She texts Tara and Tricia, hoping to drag them out for drinks and late-night snacks to celebrate her victory. Unfortunately, Tara is swamped with exhibition prep, and Tricia is busy training a new batch of rookies. Neither has time to entertain her.
“Fine. I guess I'm the only one with too much free time,” Bianca mutters to herself. It's still early, and she's far too hyped up to sleep. She starts brainstorming where she can go blow off some steam.
Meanwhile, Coen has his driver drop his parents off at home. He originally plans to head back to his own place and crash, but before the car even pulls into his driveway, his phone buzzes with a message from Danny: “Drinks?”
It's incredibly rare for the man who normally spends every waking second orbiting Tara to actively invite someone out. Naturally, Coen accepts. He tells his driver to pull a U-turn and heads straight for the location Danny pinned.
Arriving at the sleek, dimly lit lounge, Coen tosses his keys onto the table, collapses into the plush leather sofa, and grabs a glass of whiskey, taking a long sip.
“Well, look at you. Moving on to round two?”
The voice belongs to Luke, Danny's childhood friend and another regular in their inner circle.
