For the brothers, this is a brilliant new beginning. At the very least, their sister no longer glares at them with cold hostility the moment she sees them. Instead of freezing them out, she is actually smiling warmly. They are so thrilled they want to run home and tell their mother immediately that Tara is finally softening up to them.
Without toxic presences like Jade and Jovani ruining the mood, the atmosphere is spectacular. Everyone is genuinely having a great time. Even though Bonnie isn't Tara's biggest fan, she doesn't harbor enough malice to sabotage the event. With the mood this high, she has no reason to act out anyway.
Julianna, on the other hand, is silently seething. She desperately wishes Bonnie would cause a scene or snap at Tara like she usually does. But Bonnie is completely fine! Seeing Bonnie enjoy herself more than the actual host makes Julianna's blood boil. Remembering the task Gregory and Jovani entrusted to her, she realizes she has to get her own hands dirty. But finding an excuse to approach Tara alone is proving difficult.
She bides her time, waiting like a predator in the brush. Finally, she spots Tara slipping out for some fresh air after returning from the restroom.
"Happy birthday, Miss Dennis," Julianna says softly.
Tara turns around to see Julianna dressed in pink. "Thanks. Can I help you with something?" she asks, raising an eyebrow. Approaching her right now for a private chat is definitely not just for casual conversation.
"Nothing in particular. It's just that there were so many people crowding you earlier, I couldn't get a word in. Since it's quiet now, I figured..." Julianna trails off intentionally.
