Tara stares at her, genuinely questioning the woman's sanity.
"Are you suffering from clinical paranoia?" Tara asks, completely exasperated. Does she look like a cartoon villain who plots to destroy people for fun?
"I know I used to be Danny's fiancée, and I know you can't get over that. But there is absolutely nothing going on between us anymore!" Julianna rapid-fires, her words spilling out in a bizarre rush. "You really don't need to be this suspicious, and you don't need to fear that we're sneaking around. He treats you so well now. You don't have to be so ruthless, and please, do not take your anger out on my aunt or my family because of me!"
Julianna rattles off the dramatic monologue like she is possessed. It is entirely out of character. When things are this abnormal, there is always an underlying motive. Either her usual persona is a complete fake, and this is her true face, or this current act is a setup for a trap.
Tara crosses her arms, her gaze turning frosty. "What exactly are you trying to say today, Julianna? If you don't have anything productive to add, I'm leaving. Don't waste my time."
She has zero interest in indulging Julianna's one-woman show.
"Just... please don't let your imagination run wild," Julianna says with a sudden, eerie smile. "I won't keep the birthday girl from her guests any longer."
