As soon as she enters, Kellen kicks things off by sending a massive, enthusiastic "Welcome!" sticker. Immediately, the three brothers, and even her mother, follow suit, spamming the chat with similar welcoming graphics. The sheer enthusiasm practically bursts through the screen.

Across the room, the three brothers have been staring at their screens so intensely they are practically burning holes through the glass. When her sticker appears, they almost scream in elation. Anyone watching them would assume they just won a multi-million dollar lottery.

"Look! She replied! She didn't leave the group, she actually replied!"

"I see it, I'm not blind! Does this mean we're finally making progress?"

"She definitely doesn't hate us as much anymore, right?"

The three grown men stand shoulder-to-shoulder, eyes glistening with emotional tears. The agonizing knot of anxiety in their chests finally loosens, just a fraction.
