Chapter 133
Chapter 133
Blake’s voice trembled as he held the gun, his fingers gently tracing every detaß,
He had searched for years, reaching out to countless people, exploring every possible channel, even attending international arms auctions several times, but he never found it.
The gun seemed to have vanished from the world; there wasn’t even a whisper of it left.
But now, it was right there in his hands.
Natalie had found it.
Natalie watched Blake, amused by how he tried to hide his excitement but just couldn’t. Honestly, seeing him like this put her in a pretty good mood.
“Carl mentioned it to me once, and I happened to spot it with another collector. So I just had a friend pick it up for me,” she said, sounding totally nonchalant.
She made it sound like she was just asking someone to grab a random gift, nothing special at all.
Truth was, the gun had been sitting in her collection the whole time. She had plenty more just like it and since Blake wanted it, she figured, why not just give it to him?
Blake kept running his fingers over the gun, unable to hide his excitement as he touched it again and again.
Natalie watched him. “Do you like it?”
Blake nodded, his voice so hoarse it was barely more than a whisper. “I do. I really love it.”
He reached out, pulled Natalie into a gentle hug, then quickly let go.
He kept turning the gun over in his hands, itching to load it up and maybe even fire off a couple rounds right there.
And sure enough, he went ahead and did it. His finger moved, and in one smooth, decisive motion, he loaded the gun.
The sharp “click” rang out, extra loud in the quiet banquet hall.
The whole room instantly exploded into chaos.
“Aaaah!”
A few ladies screamed and jumped back, nearly tossing their champagne glasses, bubbly splashing everywhere.
“Gun! A gun just went off!”
Some faces turned ghostly pale, knees buckling as they clung to the table for support.
“Oh my god! Mr. Mitchell, chill out!”
“Wasn’t that just supposed to be a collectible? How did it actually fire?”
“Stop, stop! Mr. Mitchell, that’s not okay!”
“Nobody warned us there was a chance of dying at a Mitchell family banquet!”

He paused for a moment, thes added, “Natales network is honestly unfathomable
The others all nodded in agreement, thinking Her connections are just getting
Henry Pierce’s dark eyes lingered on Natalie’s bouette up on stage, lost in thought. If 1 supposed to be in the hands of the boss of the Phoenix Syndicate? he wondered.
Wait, does Natalie have ties to the Phoenix Syndicate? Henry thought, surprise flashing in his eyes.
Natalie beckoned to the next waiter.
The waiter carried over a large, flat box, wrapped in moon–white velvet and tied with a silver–gray rin
Jason’s palms were slick with sweat as he took a few deep breaths, trying to steady himself.
Natalie took the box and turned to face him.
“Jason,” Natalie called out.
Jason stepped forward, blinking a couple of times as he psyched himself up.
He lifted the lid halfway, then quickly slammed it shut, making the guests who’d been craning their necks to peek let out a collective gasp.
He looked at Natalie, his charming eyes meeting hers. “I… I opened it!”
Natalie chuckled softly and nodded.
He lifted the lid, and inside, two sets of clothes lay neatly folded.
One was moon–white, the other midnight blue, both folded with meticulous care. The fabric shimmered subtly under the light, exuding an understated elegance.
He gently took out the moon–white piece and unfolded it, a long robe with a mandarin collar and frog closures, the cur sharp and refined.
Delicate silver thread embroidery traced the shoulders and cuffs, so fine it was almost invisible unless you looked closely. but under the light, it shimmered softly, like moonlight rippling on water.\
He then pulled out the midnight blue one, a modernized suit with sleek lines and a fitted waist, giving off a crisp, stylish vibe.
The collar and cuffs were embroidered with subtle bamboo leaf patterns, mirroring the silver detailing on the moon–white robe.
Jason was totally floored. He was honestly left speechless by how stunning these two outfits were!
“Whoa… what is this?” Jason blurted out, completely stunned by what he saw.
Natalie spoke softly, “For your concert next month, you’ve been looking for the perfect stage outfit, right?
“I noticed you tried so many but weren’t really satisfied, so I thought maybe you could give traditional embroidery a try
