Chapter 178 Drive Her To School
tsabette thought, ‘Why does everyone revolve around her? That foxy luak of hers is always out there seducing men.
‘The school clearly forbids students from privately adding the instructor’s contact info during the military training period, but Natalie still went ahead and did it.”
Isabelle scoffed, ‘If you dare add him, don’t blame me for ratting you out.‘
That evening, at the Pierce estate.
Rosie picked at her rice, occasionally sneaking glances at Henry.
“Got something to say?” Henry asked.
He ate slowly, picking up some tomato with his fork, not looking at Rosie.
Rosie let out a little “uh,” poked her fork at her bowl a couple of times, and hesitated.
Henry glanced up at her but didn’t say anything, just kept eating.
Rosie hesitated for a long moment, then finally mustered up the courage. “Henry, I want to move out.”
Henry glanced up at her, his tone calm. “Where do you want to move to?”
Rosie said, “It’s just that this place is so far from school, and I get car sick sometimes, so I thought living closer would be better.
“Natalie has an apartment near campus, and I was hoping I could move in with her. Is that okay, Henry?”
Her voice was barely above a whisper, and honestly, wanting to move in wasn’t just about the distance. She felt a little guilty about her real reasons.
Henry didn’t show any emotion, just gave a slight nod. “Sure.”
Rosie was taken aback. She hadn’t expected her uncle to agree so easily. He didn’t even pause to think about it.
Her eyes went wide. “R–Really?”
“Yeah, but-” Henry paused.
He set down his fork and wiped his mouth.
“But what?” Rosie asked, watching him nervously.
“But you need to give me the exact address, keep your phone on at all times, and if anything happens, call me immediately.” Henry said.
He paused. “Send it to me right now.”
“Yes, yes, yes!” Rosie nodded like a little chick pecking at rice, eager and quick.
She quickly grabbed her phone and sent him the address.
Henry received the message, his eyes narrowing. ‘So she’s staying at Apartment 5, Causeway Bay…
He forwarded the address to Lewis, typing as he spoke, his tone leaving no room for argument. “And no ordering takeout every day.”
Rosie hunched her shoulders, mumbling, “But I don’t even know how to cook…”
Henry put away his phone. “I’ll have the housekeeper make your meals and deliver them every day.”
“Huh?”
“Got a problem with that?”
“No, no, it’s just… isn’t that a bit of a hassle?”
“It’s no trouble,” Henry replied.
He got up, gave her another look, and asked, “Anything else?”
Rosie shook her head. “No… that’s all.”
He nodded, turned, and went upstairs, a small smile playing at his lips.
The next day, Rosie packed up her things, ready to head out.
Lewis helped her load her suitcase into the trunk.
When Rosie opened the car door, she was surprised to see Henry inside. “Wait, Henry, you’re not going to work today“”

Henry glanced up from his tablet. “I’m heading out for a site visit today. It’s on the way.”
quit!” Rosie replied.
The car pulled up to Causeway Bay, and Rosie was surprised when the gate recognized their license plate and opened right up. “Wait, how did we get in?”
Lewis smiled. “Mr. Pierce owns property here, so we have access.”
Lewis thought, ‘He literally bought the place overnight. Of course we could get in!
‘And it’s right across from Miss Moore’s apartment. Mr. Pierce really is something else.‘
Rosie blinked, not even fazed by her uncle’s power.
The car stopped right in front of Apartment 5, just as Natalie opened the door.
She was dressed in her camo training uniform, her hair casually tied in a low ponytail, holding her hat in one hand.
Rosie shouted, “Natalie! I’m here!”
She bounced over and hugged Natalie, who let her cling on and replied with a soft, “Mm–hmm.”
Lewis unloaded the suitcase. “Miss Moore, where should I put this?”
“Just leave it in the living room for now,” Natalie said.
Henry got out of the car as well. “Sorry for the trouble, Natalie.”
He pointed toward the apartment across the way. “I’ve arranged for the housekeeper to cook for you every day. If you don’t mind, she can bring the meals over for you both. Don’t worry, she won’t get in your way.”
After he finished speaking, he licked his lips, a hint of nervousness still showing on his face.
Natalie nodded. “Alright.”
Hearing Natalie’s response, Henry’s lips curled into a faint smile. “If there’s anything you want to eat, just say the word.”
“Sure,” Natalie said.
Rosie and Lewis came out from inside, and Rosie gave Henry a wide–eyed look.
‘Whoa, what was that look Henry just gave Natalie?‘ Rosie thought.
‘Seriously, I’ve never seen that look on him before.‘
But in a blink, Henry looked away, and Rosie wondered if maybe she’d just imagined that look.
“Come on, Natalie, Henry’s giving us a ride!” Rosie called out.
Natalie had planned to drive herself, so she shook her head.
“No, it’s fine, I’ll drive,” she replied.
Rosie hooked her arm through Natalie’s and gave it a playful shake. “Just ride with us! It’s on the way, way easier, and we can save some gas!”
Natalie glanced at Rosie, who blinked up at her with those big, innocent eyes.
Henry stood off to the side, saying nothing, but the corner of his mouth lifted just a bit.
“Let’s go,” Henry said.
Natalie didn’t refuse again. She just got into the car through the door Henry held open for her.
After closing the door, Henry walked around to the other side and got in. Rosie hopped into the passenger seat.
Five minutes later, they pulled up to the gate of Redvale University.
Lewis got out, ready to open the back door, but Natalie had already opened it herself.
The black Bentley stopped at the entrance of Redvale University, its license plate reading A888. There wasn’t another car like it in all of Harbor City.
Students coming and going all stopped in their tracks, their eyes practically glued to the car. They just couldn’t look away.
