Natalie held the document-light in her hand yet heavy with significance-and looked up at her father.
In William Mitchell’s eyes, there was no testing or calculation.
There was only pure affection and indulgence.
Charlotte nodded vigorously, her eyes welling up. “Yes! Natalie, do whatever you want! I just want you to be healthy and happy!”
“Thank you, Dad. I really appreciate the gift.
Natalie thanked him sincerely, the sentiment behind it was priceless.
William smiled with relief. “I’m glad you like it.”
He quickly changed the subject, fearing he might break down if he said anything more sentimental. “Your brothers have gifts for you too!”
The five Mitchell brothers perked up and sat straight, producing their carefully prepared gifts.
Andrew led the way, presenting a no-limit black card. “Mine is simple. I just want you to have the confidence to go anywhere.”
Next, Ethan adjusted his glasses and handed over a deed. “A vineyard in France. The vintage and quality are excellent. You can go there to relax or host friends.”
Blake was brief, placing a survey report and ownership certificate on the table. “A small gold mine in Karsenia. Production is steady, and I’ve hired reliable people to manage it. The profits will go straight to your account.”
Jason smiled gently. “I don’t have anything too fancy. I happen to own a talent agency. It’s not huge, but the resources are decent. I’ve signed a few promising rookies, you can have it as a toy.”
“Manage it if you’re interested, or just keep it for the dividends if you’re not.”
Ryan jumped in last, tossing a cool-looking car key in his hand.
“Sis, my resources are a bit limited compared to the others.”
“But this is a ‘Phantom King, limited to only ten units worldwide! I fought hard to get this! It’s super flashy and the performance is insane. I’ll take you for a spin later!”
He pressed the key into Natalie’s hand like a prize, his face glowing with boyish excitement.
“I might not be great at much else, but I know how to have a good time! I will show you the best of Harbor City!

She nodded to her brothers, who were dying for feedback. Her tone was steady, showing no massive surprise, but her approval was clear.
The Mitchell brothers breathed a sigh of relief. At least Natalie didn’t hate it!
Spending time with her, they realized their sister was just naturally composed.
She was poised and unshakeable, they liked her even more!
Jason pulled her over to look at family photos. The very first picture in the album was of Natalie as an infant.
The photo was a bit yellowed, but you could still see a doll-like baby wrapped in soft blankets, her dark eyes wide and curious as she looked at the camera.
Beside her were a younger William and Charlotte, their faces glowing with happiness as Charlotte carefully shielded the baby with her hand.
“This was taken when you were a month old,”
Ethan’s voice was soft and nostalgic. “Mom said you were such a good baby. You rarely cried, you just liked to watch people with your eyes wide open, like you understood everything.”
Natalie’s slender fingers brushed over the photo, her eyelashes fluttering.
Several heavy albums were spread out before her as they chatted incessantly.
“Look, Natalie! This was the family skiing in Switzerland, you were still in Mom’s belly then!”
“This is when Andrew got his first scholarship. Mom was so proud!”
“Haha, this is Ethan as a kid. With those glasses, he looked like a little professor!”
“Blake looks cool here, right? He’s been stoic since he was a kid, but his martial arts are amazing!”
“This is Jason’s first time on stage. He was so nervous he was walking like a robot!”
“And this is me! My first time riding a bike alone. I took a huge spill and cried so hard!”
The five brothers crowded around her, everyone chiming in and pointing at the photos excitedly.
The photos chronicled the Mitchell brothers’ journey from childhood to adulthood-some silly, some heartwarming, some proud, and some embarrassing.
Behind every picture was a story belonging to this family.
Natalie sat quietly on the sofa, flipping through the pages and listening to their cheerful narrations.
