The Scorned Heiress's Hidden Empire (by Jade Quinn) novel Chapter 235

Chapter 235

The second round featured the Business School facing off against the Foreign Language School

The Business School’s mid-laner was a Gold V player, his mechanics were sharp and a awareness was spot-on He pulled off a triple kill in a team fight, sending the stands into a frenzy of applause.

After both games, the Liberal Arts School and the Business School came out on top

The winners left the stage, buzzing with excitement, and headed back to the stands to catch the third round

The third round was up. Now it was the Physics School’s turn to face off against the Sports School

Iris stood up, loosened her wrists, and took a deep breath.

Just watch, I’m about to pull off a double win in this game! Iris thought to herself.

One of the guys on her team was practically bouncing with excitement. “Oh my god, I never thought I’d get to play with E God watching from the audience! Seriously, my hands are shaking. I’m so pumped!”

ris frowned. “Are you up for this? Don’t drag me down, alright?”

What?

The guy looked at Iris, realizing she’d taken his joke seriously, and her tone made him frown. “What’s your problem? Can’t you tell I was just messing around?”

Iris crossed her arms, rolled her eyes, and didn’t bother replying.

Natalie Moore slowly got to her feet, casually slipped her phone into her pocket, and walked onto the stage at the end of the Physics School group.

They took their seats and started adjusting their headphones.

After a minute or two, the referee saw both teams were ready and announced the start of the match.

The big screen flashed everyone’s loading screens, and as their ranks appeared, the crowd started murmuring

On the Sports School side, every player was Platinum V or above, but Evan Hale stood out as the lowest at Bronze VI.

On the Physics School side, Iris’s Platinum V rank was especially eye-catching among the six, since the other five were two Diamond IV, two Silver V, and one brand-new Level I aceount.

Before the match even started, the audience was left speechless.

“Is there even a point to this match?”

“Yeah, the Sports School is gonna totally steamroll the Physics School!”

“I get that the Physics School kids are all nerds and barely play games, but a Level I account? That’s just ridiculous. Did they seriously have no one else?”

“And she’s our campus queen, too!”

“Talk about bad luck, getting matched up with the strongest team, the Sports School”

Chapter 235-

That girl’s got a pretty high rank. Maybe she can carry the whole team by herself.”

This is a six-player team game. What good is one strong player?”

“Who knows? Let’s just watch and see.”

Before the match started, the Physics School team had a quick strategy meeting.

Their captain, Adriel Sanchez, was a Diamond IV player, steady and reliable, with a knack for macro play

He was actually pretty good, just hadn’t ranked up yet since he was new to the game.

He looked at everyone’s rank and favorite champs, then quickly assigned positions and heroes.

Iris took jungle, picking her favorite assassin.

Adriel and the other Diamond IV player went marksman and healer, while the two Silver V players took top lane and ¡upport.

Natale took mid lane, picking the default mage.

But when the champion select screen popped up. Iris didn’t even hesitate. She locked in an assassin that wasn’t her usual >ick.

nstead of her main, she went for a flashy assassin, one that could really show off and dominate team fights, grabbing all the ittention.

Adriel was caught off guard. “Iris, didn’t we agree during the strategy meeting you’d use your usual champ? We’ve never >racticed with this one before.”

ris just smiled, playing dumb. “Oh? You said that? Sorry, I wasn’t really listening. Too late now, I’ve already locked it in.”

She waved it off. “Don’t worry, I got this.”

Adriel looked like he wanted to say something, but seeing Iris so confident, he just kept quiet.

He picked his marksman and glanced at the rest, everyone else stuck to the champions they’d talked about before.

The match officially began, and each of the six teammates took up their assigned roles and headed to their lanes.

Natalie went mid, facing a Platinum V opponent who started pressuring her aggressively from level one, pushing past the

minion wave.

Natalie kept her cool, last-hitting from behind her minions and occasionally harassing with her spells.

After clearing her red buff, Iris didn’t go for a gank. Instead, she invaded the enemy jungle, heading straight for their blue

buff

But both the enemy jungler and support were waiting. She dove in solo, got caught by the two of them, and ended up feeding first blood.

The First Blood announcement boomed across the arena, and the crowd let out a collective sigh.

Iris bu her lip. “It’s fine, I’ll take one down.”

After respawning, Iris went right back into the enemy jungle to steal their red buff, but the enemy jungler was camping
