My entire face went hot again.

“You..!” I choked out, but the words tangled, turning into a strangled noise instead of a

sentence.

He only smirked harder.

Flustered and fuming, I grabbed my robe and wrapped it around myself so fast I almost tripped. My hands shook as I tied the belt, stomping toward the door, refusing to look back

But his laughter followed me.

Deep. Amused.

Infuriatingly satisfied.

And somehow…

That only made my cheeks burn hotter.

“I didnt ask to be here if you have a problem go take it up with your Alpha,” I said, my voice trembling even though I tried to make it strong.

“Oh.. she’s feisty.” Rilena lifted a brow. “Then tell me, Sylvara… how does it feel?”

I blinked. “Feel… what?”

Her smile widened, cruel and mocking.

“How does it feel having powerful Alphas drooling over you?” she asked, leaning closer again. “Two brothers fighting to claim you… when you’re nothing but a disgrace to our kind.”

The words hit like a slap.

I stepped back. My throat tightened. My heartbeat hammered painfully.

I felt my fists clench inside the robe. “I… I don’t have time for this.”

“Oh, you will make time,” Maren said, stepping closer. “Because you need to hear it. Everyone here is talking. Everyone is laughing… and not in a nice way.”

I glared, my stomach twisting, “I don’t care what you think or anyone does.”

She laughed, a sharp, high sound that grated on my nerves. “Of course, you don’t care. You’ve jumped from one brother to another like a cheap little whore, and now you’re here, thinking you belong.”

My blood boiled. “I’m not a whore.”

Marens lips curved cruelly. “That’s what an whore would say: You heard the Alpha, didn’t you? You were given to him. You think Kaelen brought you here because he care well he doesn’t. You’re just a pawn to taunt his brother with. You think anyone will welcome a weak, unshifted little omega like you?”

I felt a hot wave of shame, mixed with anger. My throat tightened. “I’m not weak!” I shouted. “I may not have shifted yet, but…”

Rilena snorted. “May not have shifted yet? Don’t flatter yourself. You barely survived training, and the moment a Delta got near you, you were on the ground begging for mercy. How pathetic. And don’t think the Kaelen didn’t notice. He only tolerates weakness when it amuses him… or when he’s bored.”

I gritted my teeth. “I’m not staying here to be insulted by you. I…”

“Oh, you will stay,” Maren said, stepping closer, voice dropping, teeth showing in a sly smirk. “Because this is his pack now, and you… you’re just a dirt he’s chosen to toy with. You’re not welcomed. Not by me, and not by the others. You’ll never be more than a weak little shadow compared to us.”

I felt my heart pound. The words stung like knives. I wanted to scream, to hit her, to throw something… anything…but my body still ached from training.

“I never asked for any of this,” I whispered.

“Of course you didn’t.” Rilena laughed softly. “Girls like you don’t get asked. You get passed around. Given away. Tossed like scraps. And now look at you. Stinking of hot spring water and fear… standing in the Alpha’s scent like you earned it.”

I shook my head, trying to keep my voice steady. “Leave. I’m not doing this with you.”

But she stepped closer again, her eyes narrowing

“You think you’re special because Kaelen carried brought yiu here?” she asked. “Because he plays hero for a moment? Because he lets you stand near him?”

Her lips curled,

“He’ll get bored. He always does. And when he does, darling… you will realise just how small and useless you really are.”

My chest tightened. The words dug deep, stirring every insecurity, every fear I tried to hide.

Maren looked me up and down one last time.

“You don’t belong here,” she said coldly. “You never will.”

She turned toward the door.

“And if you want advice… stop acting like you matter. It will hurt less when Kaelen tosses you aside.”

The door slammed behind her, leaving me alone in silence, shaking.
