Bella stepped into the sanctum, and everything else ceased to exist. She looked like she was woven from moonlight. Beautiful, elegant and mine.
Her dress was simple white silk, elegant, hugging every part of her body. The veil softened her features, but it couldn’t hide the strength in her posture or the quiet confidence in her steps. Her golden hair was braided with pearls. She looked radiant like a queen. Like a woman who had conquered my heart. And like a warrior who had full control over my beast.
Storm went utterly still, his awe rolling through me so powerfully my breath caught. This was her. This was the woman who had crossed worlds for me, who had faced wolves without hesitation just to save me.
Her emerald gaze lifted and met mine through the veil. I saw no fear in her eyes. There was only devotion and love.
Immediately, the bond surged inside me. It was warm and overwhelming, bringing a rush of love, relief, and certainty that nearly brought me to my knees.
Every anticipation burned away in that moment. Because I knew she wasn’t here because she had to be. She was here because she wanted to be.
As she reached me, my body moved on instinct. I extended my hand, palm open. She placed her hand in mine. It felt so warm and sure, and her fingers curled around my own. The contact grounded me instantly. I closed my fingers around and pulled her gently in front of me.
“You look beautiful!” I murmured, unable to look at anything else.
She blushed. “And you look breathtaking!” she breathed.
Fuck. She was so cute. I wanted to kiss her so badly.
We turned toward the altar as one. The priest stepped forward. He raised his hand in the air, facing the moon statue. His voice was reverent as he started saying ancient incantations. The fires flared softly in response. Heavy and sacred silence fell across the temple. And magic stirred. The ceremony truly began
Bella POV
When I stepped onto the temple grounds, the first thing I felt was the weight of hundreds of eyes. The entire Silver Mane pack had gathered, filling the wide grounds around the Moon Goddess Temple.
It made my stomach flutter with a strange mix of excitement and responsibility. These were Scott’s people. My people now. I could sense their hope in the air and the way their attention tightened the moment I walked forward. I forced myself to keep walking to marry the man I loved.
Millie walked beside me, practically glowing, and her grin was so wide it made me laugh under my breath. She kept adjusting my veil like it was her personal mission to make sure I looked perfect. On my other side, Nancy walked gracefully, looking regal, watchful as always. Every now and then her eyes swept the crowd as if she was counting threats, possibilities. It made me feel protected.
My twins walked ahead of me. Emma and Ryan were dressed like tiny royalty, their cheeks pink from excitement. They clutched baskets full of rose petals and threw them with dramatic little flicks of their hands as they walked toward the temple entrance, giggling as the petals scattered across the stone path.
“More, Ryan!” Emma whispered loudly.
“I’m doing it!” he whispered back, offended, then tossed a handful so enthusiastically that petals rained over his own head.
A few wolves in the crowd laughed, and I heard fond murmurs ripple through them. As we entered the temple itself, the

scent of incense was thick in the air. Pale moonlight poured in from above, catching on the altar and making the center of the room glow softly.
I saw Scott inside the sanctum. He stood near the altar, waiting, and for a second my mind actually went blank. The suit he was wearing hit him like it had been created just for his body. His suit was deep black with subtle silver detailing at the collar and cuffs, just enough to hint at tradition. His hair was neatly styled, making his face look even more devastating–strong jaw, intense eyes, that dangerous confidence he carried like a second skin. His gaze locked onto me the moment I stepped into the light.
I didn’t realize how much I needed to see him like this until that moment. Seeing him after so many hours relieved something in me.
Emma and Ryan reached the altar first, still throwing petals with proud little flourishes, then moved aside like Millie had coached them a hundred times.
The priest in his ceremonial white robes stepped forward.
I walked the last steps with my bouquet held carefully in front of me, my fingers tight around the stems. The closer I got to Scott, the more aware I became of the pull that lived between us like a living thread.
When I reached him, Scott extended his hand without hesitation. I placed mine into it, and the moment our palms met, my body reacted like it recognized home. He closed his fingers around mine and tugged gently, drawing me closer until I was standing right in front of him. His warmth seeped through the fabric of his suit.
Unfortunately, my body went out of control. The familiar need to rut him hit me fierce enough that I had to bite the inside of my cheek to keep my expression from giving me away. It was ridiculous timing. Temple, entire pack watching and priest ready to bless our bond. And here I was, standing inches from my husband–to–be and thinking about very inappropriate things.
Scott’s mouth tilted. He leaned in, his breath warm against my ear. “Behave,” he murmured. “I can smell your

arousal.”
I stared at him in shock, then fumbled for dignity, which was difficult when he was still holding my hand and standing there looking like sin wrapped in a black suit.
His thumb stroked over my knuckles, and he let out a silent chuckle. His gesture was gentle, and infuriating, because it felt like he was grounding me while also enjoying my misery.
