THE SPITEFUL BRIDE: Marry To Rival's Son novel Chapter 151

Chapter 151

It had been two weeks since Elena left for what she called her “self-discovery journey.”

She was supposed to be back after one week, but something about being away from everything familiar had made her want to stay longer.

The mountains, the fresh air, the complete silence from her phone – it had all been exactly what she needed to clear her head.

But eventually, she knew she had to come back to face real life again.

Meanwhile, Mia and Stefan had settled into their new routine at home. Stefan had become incredibly protective since learning about the pregnancy, and he absolutely refused to let her go to the office anymore. 1

She had tried everything – pleading, bargaining, even threatening to sleep in the guest room – but he had refused every single request.

“The stress isn’t good for the baby,” he would say whenever she brought it up. “You need rest and peace, not deadlines and meetings.”

Finally, he had offered her a compromise. She could work from home three days a week, handling only the most important matters remotely.

Mia didn’t really have a choice but to agree. She couldn’t win against her overprotective husband, and deep down, she kind of loved how much he cared about her and their child.

Now she was lying on Stefan’s chest in their bedroom, thinking about how much their lives had changed.

She never would have believed they could get to this point. That Stefan could be this soft and loving.

That he would be worthy of receiving an award for being the world’s best husband.

He really was a walking green flag, she thought with a smile. He was always there whenever she needed him, even before she realized she needed him. She didn’t have to say anything – he just knew what she wanted or how she was feeling.

One day she had asked him how he was able to read her thoughts so easily.

“I don’t just read your thoughts,” he had replied with that confident smile of his. “I read you, Mia Meyer Sterling.”

She couldn’t help the blush that had covered her face that day, and she was blushing again now just thinking

about it.

Looking around their bedroom, she noticed how much it had changed in just two weeks.

Stefan had started turning it into a nursery, saying he wanted to be close to both of them always and wanted to be part of every moment of their parenting journey.

Baby books were stacked on the nightstand. A rocking chair sat in the corner by the window. There were paint samples taped to the wall where Stefan was planning to add some color.

In just two weeks, their room was starting to look like they were preparing to birth an entire nation. Mot even preparing, it looked like they already birthed a nation.

She couldn’t help the smile that appeared on her face as she took it all in.

“Why are you smiling like that?” Stefan asked, and she could hear the smile in his own voice. “Don’t tell me you’re thinking about me again.” T

Mia raised an eyebrow and looked up at him. “Why do you automatically assume I was thinking about you? Can’t I just smile without it being about you?”

Stefan shook his head and sat up, gently lifting Mia and positioning her on his lap with her back against his chest.

“You only smile like that when you’re thinking about me,” he said confidently, bringing his lips to her neck. “I know all your different smiles by now.”

Mia’s breath caught as she felt his warm lips against her skin. It had been almost two years since they got married, but Stefan still had a way of setting her entire body on fire with just the smallest touch.

“Tell me what was making you smile,” he murmured against her neck, his lips moving slowly down toward her shoulder, his hands leaves traces down to her spinal cord.

“Stefan,” she said, trying to sound scolding but failing completely.

“Hmm?” he answered, his lips still tracing kisses down her neck as his second hands began to lower the straps

of her dress.

“How do you expect me to talk when you’re… oh…awwaann” she trailed off as his hands brushed her wet fold teasingly.

“Shh,” Stefan whispered against her skin. “That was a rhetorical question anyway.’

His hands slowly entered her, as he started moving with practiced skill, and Mia found herself unable to form any coherent words. This was his specialty – making her forget everything except how he made her feel.

“Let me make you feel good,” he said softly. “That’s my job now.”

Mia wanted to make some joke about him taking his job very seriously, but Stefan’s hands were doing things that made thinking impossible. His finger moved with confident, then he inserted another finger.

She had to hold onto him tightly because she didn’t know what else to do.

“Ste…fan ……” She called, moaning his name, her hands gripping his arms tightly as waves of pleasure threatened to wash over her.

Stefan adjusted his position and lifted her gently, positioning her on top of him. His back was against the headboard while her back pressed against his chest.

He lowered his brief a little and guided her down slowly, on his risen member. Mia couldn’t help the soft moan that escaped her lips.

Soon they both moaned out each other’s name, as they were completely lost in each other, in the sensation of
