The True Alpha of Lupine (Seraphina and Ronan) novel Chapter 114

RONAN

Blood drenched my claws and breath thundered in my chest. The moment that iron rod came crashing down and split a rogue’s skull near me, the fight seemed to freeze.

The scent of burnt metal and blood thickened as a figure stepped into the dim light, dragging the iron weapon behind him like a shadow of war.

Alpha Jude.

His face was blank, his naked body painted with gore and torn flesh that didn’t belong to him. Not a single wound marred him. But behind him…every rogue that had dared stand in his path lay twisted and lifeless.

Not that any of us had time to process what we were seeing. A rogue lunged from the side. My instincts took over. I twisted, grabbing its throat mid–leap and slamming it into the stone floor. It’s bones crunched under my palm.

“DON’T GET IN MY WAY, MUTT!!” I barked, snapping back into the moment. I had to get to Seraphina!!

The air erupted again in motion and blood. Asher launched into the mess of snarling wolves. Finn followed, carving through bodies like a blade of precision. Ryker ducked low and took out two wolves with his elbows and a vicious twist of the spine.

While Alpha Jude wasn’t fighting. He was purging. His eyes were burning gold, unfocused but not blind. He didn’t just want to kill. He wanted them erased.

That’s when he froze.

His head jerked sharply left. His body tensed like a bowstring pulled too far. Then, his lips moved-

“Grace!” he roared.

We all stopped for a moment.

The way he said it like her name was the only thread holding him to this world.

Without another sound, he shifted mid–step. His black wolf burst forward, massive and terrifying, crashing through the stone corridor, his claws shredding marble tiles as he turned left and shot upward.

I froze. Grace? Then Seraphina had to be there too.

I didn’t think.

Iran.

We all did.

We called her name Asher muttered breathlessly beside me

Could he have caught her scent Finn added behind me, voice tight with surprise

Ryrers words were low and meaningful, Among hundreds of she wolves he caught Grace’s scent?”

My muedes tightened as 1 thought about the thing about Alpha Jude and Grace

Could they be soulmates? I breathed.

We exchanged fooke, a silent understanding in our oyes

Then we pushed harder, freter

Chapter 114 Who Is He?

Alpha Jude’s wolf tore through a locked door at the top of the stairs, splintering wood like it was paper. I leapt midair and shifted, landing in my wolf form just as we poured into the room after him, it was chaos.

Dozens of wolves waited, guarding the red–draped room like lunatics. Only this wasn’t a fight for territory or survival.

They were guarding!

Chapter 114 1

Within a few seconds, my fur was bathed in their blood, my wolf trying to sense Seraphina until I finished the last remaining rogue in my way. That was when behind the red curtain I saw a figure.

My heart quickened. Seraphina! As I raised my legs to run Alpha Jude who had shifted back into his human form rushed past me like wind. He ripped open the curtain and immediately hugged her.

Ryker turned around and stormed out of the room like the wind. My wolf roared in my mind, and no matter how much I did not want to think that he went looking for Seraphina, I still felt like losing my mind.
