Margie glared at him, looking like she fully intended to slap him again. With an attitude like his, he must have given Juno a hard time.

The director shot a frantic look to his senior staff. The two executives carefully and cautiously pulled Margie out of the room, loudly inventing an excuse. "The hospital recently received a batch of equipment funded by The Imperium. You simply must come take a look!"

Once the troublemaker was gone, the director stayed behind to smooth things over, ultimately waiving Paxton's hospitalization fees.

After handling it, the director tracked Margie down in another wing.

"You were a bit impulsive just now, Ms. Corrington," the gray-haired director advised earnestly.

"Juno is the one who put him in the hospital, and we'll end up having to pay compensation anyway. So, I slapped him."
