The Ugly Wife’s Stunning Comeback (Felicia and Max) novel Chapter 1167

Brandon nodded in understanding. "Since it has come to this, let him be."

"Grandpa," Anne's cheerful voice rang out.

Max and Felicia brought Anne back inside from their walk. Brandon stepped forward, bending down to scoop his granddaughter into his arms.

Anne planted a loud, sloppy kiss on his cheek and wrapped her small arms tightly around his neck. "I have not seen you in so long, Grandpa. I missed you so much."

Brandon gently tapped her little nose, his voice brimming with affection. "I missed you too, Anne. When you have your holiday break, how about you come stay at Grandpa's house?"

Anne suddenly hesitated, her brow furrowing in serious thought. "Grandpa, Mom has a little brother in her tummy. I need to take care of Mom."

Brandon burst into warm, booming laughter. "You are such a good girl."

Max stepped forward and affectionately patted Anne's head. "Then today, you should spend lots of time with Great grandmother, Grandpa, and Grandma."

Anne looked up at her dad, blinking her big, innocent eyes. "Are you going on a date with Mom?"

Max smiled down at her. "Yes, we are."

"Okay," Anne readily agreed, thrilled by the idea.

The atmosphere in the room was exceptionally warm and peaceful. Watching her family interact so beautifully, Miranda could not stop smiling.

The butler soon approached, bowing slightly. "Madam, lunch is ready."

"Alright, let us eat first," Miranda decided.

Max drove straight to an upscale shopping mall and parked the car in the underground garage. As soon as they stepped out of the vehicle, Max naturally wrapped his arm around her waist, guiding her toward the elevator. Felicia was wearing sensible flat shoes. Standing at five foot six, tucked closely against his side, she barely cleared his shoulder. His large hand rested firmly on her waist, and even through the thin fabric of her clothes, she could clearly feel the comforting warmth of his palm.

They took the elevator upstairs and stepped out into the bright concourse. The mall was not overly crowded, making for a relaxing stroll. However, as they walked, their striking appearances and elegant auras drew quite a few admiring, lingering glances from passersby. Max wore a dark blue long sleeve shirt paired with tailored white trousers, exuding the refined grace of a noble heir. Felicia wore a lightweight white coat draped over a blue and white checkered shawl. Her long, dark hair fell loosely around her naturally radiant face devoid of makeup. At a glance, their outfits complemented each other perfectly, marking them as a stunning couple.

They eventually arrived at a chic boutique specializing in baby clothes. A sales associate immediately stepped forward to greet them with a polite smile. Her strict professional training kept her from showing too much visible emotion upon seeing such a breathtakingly attractive pair, but inwardly, she could not help but marvel. Beautiful women were common enough in this line of work, but a man with such striking, flawless features and commanding presence was exceptionally rare.

"Welcome. May I ask how many months old your baby is so I can recommend the right sizes?" the associate asked cheerfully.

"The baby has not been born yet," Felicia replied politely. "We are just looking ahead of time."

The associate looked at Felicia, completely unable to tell she was carrying a child. "I see, just preparing early. Please step right this way, and I will show you our newborn collections."

Felicia offered a soft murmur of agreement and let Max lead her further into the store.
