The Ugly Wife’s Stunning Comeback (Felicia and Max) novel Chapter 776

When Jeremy answered the phone, Darin immediately gave him an update. "Felicia is resting right now. She seems completely normal at the moment. I am going to stay here for a couple of days to keep an eye on her condition."

"Send me a copy of her treatment plan," Jeremy replied.

"I took photos of the plan after I reviewed it," Darin said. "I will send them to you shortly."

Jeremy agreed, then added a word of caution. "Given Felicia's current mental state, it’s not a good idea to let her see you or realize who you are. We must stay in touch."

Darin tightened his grip on his phone. "I know." He understood that revealing his presence would only add to his sister's psychological burden.

After ending the call, Darin sent the photos to Jeremy. He sat on the edge of his bed, his heart heavy with worry.

When Jeremy finished reading the treatment plan Darin sent, his expression darkened. The trauma focused therapy meant tearing open every single wound Felicia had suffered all over again. While this method worked wonders for ordinary patients, it was absolutely not viable for her. Max had clearly seen and approved of this approach. Jeremy tried calling Max, but the man rejected the call instantly. Refusing to give up, Jeremy sent a text message. "Max, if you truly want Felicia to recover, you need to terminate this treatment plan immediately."

Max glanced at the message on his screen but did not reply. He simply tossed his phone aside.

Around five in the afternoon, the butler approached Max with a report. Felicia had woken up without any abnormal symptoms, and Dr. Harrison had conducted a brief, simple conversation with her. Because Felicia was entirely aware of her condition, she was actively cooperating with the treatment. She did not want to be controlled by her negative emotions and was trying incredibly hard to get better. She had eaten some pastries earlier and was now in the garden painting with Anne. Using art to improve her mood, along with having her daughter by her side, was significantly helping her mindset.

Max walked toward the garden and spotted the mother and daughter from a distance. Surrounded by a sea of flowers and fluttering butterflies, the air was fragrant, and the scene painted a picture of absolute peace. Anne sat on the grass, leaning against her mother as they wove a flower crown together. Once finished, Anne placed it gently on Felicia's head. "Mommy is so pretty," the little girl giggled.

Felicia pulled her thoughts back and shook her head. "Nothing in particular."

Max did not press her further. He simply raised his hand to tuck a stray strand of hair behind her ear. Felicia watched him closely as he withdrew his hand, a faint smile touching his thin lips.

From a window on the second floor, a solitary figure stood in silence, watching the scene unfold in the garden below.

Anne ran off to chase a passing butterfly. Max lifted Felicia into his arms and settled her onto a nearby bench. He draped his arm naturally around her shoulders and held one of her hands warmly in his. Felicia leaned against him, remaining completely still. There was no emotional fluctuation on her face, making her look like a lifeless porcelain doll.
