Chapter 176 Unwelcome Interruption
Finished
“Class A picked on our classmate, and you all followed along. Larissa gave everything at the sports meet to bring glory to our class.”
“You really disappointed us.”
“Right. Doing something like that is heartbreaking. If I were Larissa, I wouldn’t forgive you either.”
Alvin voiced his support.
Larissa cast an indifferent look across her classmates. “I don’t blame you.”
After all, she had never placed her hopes on them.
So however they viewed her did not matter.
Resentment or pardon were feelings reserved for people she truly valued.
To her, these people were nothing more than strangers.
“Alright, everyone, class begins now. Settle down.”
Daphne stood at the front, gazing at the students seated below.
“What happened just now shows us something; don’t hear one side and treat it as the whole story.
“We must not believe anyone without proof, and we certainly must not wrong someone innocent.”
She looked around the room and continued.
“Since the truth is out, let’s applaud Larissa for winning first place nationwide.
“We have a break tomorrow. Tonight, I’m treating you all. Eat well and enjoy yourselves.”
The room erupted in cheers after Daphne finished speaking.
Someone yelled excitedly, “Daphne is the best! We’re benefiting from Larissa!”
All eyes turned to Larissa, filled with admiration and jealousy.
They were all seventeen, at the peak of their youth.
Yet she stood far above the rest.
Larissa had not expected Daphne to arrange this. A wave of warmth filled her heart.
Alvin stepped up with a bright smile. “Larissa, you should relax tonight.”
Nancy added beside him, “Yeah, we’re going to celebrate big.”
That evening, the class headed to the location their teacher shared, the most luxurious hotel in Marcrest.

Chapter 176 Unwelcome Interruption
No one imagined Daphne would bring the entire class to such an upscale place.
It cost at least a thousand per head.
With 60 students, that meant no less than 60 thousand.
Daphne earned at most ten thousand a month. That was half a year’s salary spent in one go.
Daphne was truly magnanimous.
They all sat together in a large private suite, the atmosphere lively.
Just as they lifted their glasses for a toast, the door burst open.
Morris strode in with several bodyguards behind him.
Everyone turned toward the entrance, shock written across their faces.
Most of them were ordinary students.
They had never witnessed something like this.
Morris‘ expression was grim, his gaze icy. He walked straight to Larissa and questioned.
“Larissa, why did you send Ms. Turner to the police?
“Do you understand this might destroy her?”
Only then did the students realize he was the head of Turner Group and Julia’s father.
He had come here to confront them?
The mood instantly grew tense.
Larissa remained composed. As expected, he always sided with Julia.
His partiality toward her had no limits.
