Leonard patted Nelson’s shoulder. “Nelson, thank you for everything!

“Two years ago, Isaac got in that car accident, and he’s been in a wheelchair ever since. The doctors said he’d be lucky to live for another three years.

“Now Isaac’s health is getting worse every day.

“Over the past two years, I’ve seen every famous doctor out there, but none of them have been able to help.

“The Wonder Doctor is your brother’s last hope.

Larissa didn’t want anyone to know who she was, so she replied, “Not interested.”

Monkey wrote back, “Boss, that’s a billion dollars–doesn’t that tempt you even a little?”

“I just returned to the Sowles. I don’t want my identity exposed. No matter who asks for treatment, turn them all down.”

Monkey replied, “The Sowles? Congrats on finding your real family, Boss.

“All right, I’ll decline for you. But you’ve been getting a lot of requests lately.

“You ever heard of the Robinetts from Eldercrown?

“The Robinetts are trying to find you too, probably to have you treat someone.”

Larissa paused for a second–the Robinetts. She thought of that stunningly handsome face.

She replied, “Not interested, turn them all down. The Robinetts are trouble, and anyone who gets involved with them never walks away clean.”

“You got it.”

Larissa exited the chat, and then someone knocked on her door.

When she opened it, Ruby walked in holding a bottle of milk.

“Larissa, drink it while it’s hot. Then get some rest.”

Larissa listened and drank it all down.

“Larissa, go to bed early.”

Ruby really wanted to get closer to Larissa, but knowing her daughter’s personality, she knew it would have to be a slow process.

Larissa didn’t understand what Ruby was thinking.

In her last life, she’d never experienced motherly affection.
