Chapter 274 A Warning at the School Gate

“Terry, there’s a woman hanging around my brother,” Floria complained over the phone. “Can you help me drive her away? She even yelled at me. I really can’t stand her.”
Terry had grown up with Alvin. Their families had served in the military for three generations, and Terry had inherited that same hard, ruthless edge.
But when it came to Floria, he was completely different.
He had always liked her and spoiled her without hesitation. If she asked for something, he made it happen. Seeing her upset was something he simply couldn’t tolerate.
Terry was a man of virtue; he never got involved with any woman. Every other woman was meaningless, no more important than a stone on the road.
The moment Terry read her message, his eyes turned cold.
“Don’t worry,” he replied immediately. “I’ll deal with it.”
Anyone who made Floria unhappy would pay for it.
Floria sent another message right away. “But don’t let my brother find out. If he does, he’ll get mad and stop talking to me.”
Terry had never seen Floria afraid of anyone before. That only strengthened his resolve to handle the girl she was talking about.
Anyone who hurt Floria deserved to die.
“Relax,” he wrote back. “If I’m handling it, you don’t need to worry.”
He immediately ordered an investigation into Larissa. Before long, a thick file landed in front of him.
So this girl was the daughter the Sowles had recently found. She used to be the Turners‘ adopted child.
Now she was a senior in high school.
Just a teenager, but she had caused quite a stir.
Recently, her name had been everywhere online. People called her a genius who had brought great pride to the country.
And she was beautiful.
No wonder Alvin had been drawn to her.
A pretty face that caused trouble.
No wonder Floria felt threatened.
Still, Larissa should never have provoked Floria.

Terry decided he would meet the girl himself.
The next day, he boarded a private jet and flew to Marcrest.
After landing, he headed straight for Larissa’s school.
School had just ended when he arrived. Students were streaming out of the front gate. Larissa walked out with the crowd.
Terry stepped forward and blocked her path.
“You’re Larissa?” he asked coldly, studying her with sharp, warning eyes.
She looked seventeen, maybe eighteen. Was this the girl who had charmed Alvin?
It didn’t matter. Anyone who upset Floria would have to answer to him.
Larissa frowned. Of all people, Terry–one of Floria’s most loyal followers–had come looking for her.
In her previous life, he had made things difficult for her again and again. He had mocked her, humiliated her, and never once shown her any kindness.
Back then, she never understood why he hated her so much.
Because she liked Alvin, she had tried to get along with his friends too. She thought if she treated them well, maybe they would accept her.
But no matter how hard she tried, all she received was their hostility.
She could never figure it out.
Not until this life. Now she finally understood.
Floria had always been in love with Alvin.
From the moment Larissa appeared beside Alvin, she had already been shut out of their world.
But this time, things would be different.
She would never again let these people trample on her dignity.
‘Who are you?” Larissa asked calmly.
Terry gave a cold laugh.
