Chapter 282 An Unexpected Scene
A few careless words of concern–did she think that could make up for everything?
Finished
Terry couldn’t swallow the insult. The anger burning inside him refused to fade. He wanted revenge.
The moment the call ended, he jumped into his car and drove straight to Marcrest High.
Anyone who dared humiliate him would pay with their lives.
He slammed his foot on the gas. The car tore down the road as if speed alone could drain his rage.
Soon the tall gates of Marcrest High came into view. He hit the brakes hard. The car stopped sharply at the
entrance.
Terry stepped out and strode onto campus. Only one thought filled his mind. Find Larissa. Make her suffer far worse than he had.
Students moved through the campus in small groups. His sudden arrival drew plenty of attention.
People whispered. Some pointed.
Many clearly recognized him.
Terry clenched his fists so tightly his nails pressed into his palms.
Step by step, he searched the campus. Each stride carried a cold rage, ready to kill her.
At last, he spotted the familiar figure inside a classroom.
Larissa looked up calmly. The moment she saw him, the corner of her lips lifted slightly. There was no fear in her eyes. Instead, there was a hint of mockery and amusement.
It was not the reaction Terry wanted.
Why wasn’t she afraid of his revenge?
Then again, she had grown up in a small city. Narrow–minded people like her wouldn’t know anything about his status or reputation.
If she did, she would never dare treat him this way.
Fine. Today, he would teach Larissa a proper lesson.
He walked toward her slowly and said in a cold voice, “Come with me. You don’t want to make a scene here.”
Larissa simply nodded and followed him to a nearby coffee shop.
After they sat down, her eyes drifted to the mark on his neck. She looked at it with interest and gave a faint smile. “Looks like you had quite an exciting night yesterday.”

“You’re asking for trouble,” Terry said coldly.
He stared at her as if she were already a dead woman.
Larissa only shrugged. A challenging smile appeared on her lips.
“What’s wrong, Mr. Wagner? Thinking about using force again?
“Can’t win the argument, so you want to start a fight?
“That’s not very gentlemanly.”
Terry’s chest rose and fell sharply. His hands curled into tight fists.
Finished
Just as he was about to explode, the door of the coffee shop suddenly opened. A well–dressed woman walked in, followed by eight bodyguards.
The moment she saw Terry, her eyes lit up. She hurried over and wrapped her arm around his. “There you are, handsome! I’ve finally found you.”
She was the same wealthy woman from the night before.
In Marcrest, she was known as a powerful businesswoman.
A charming young companion like Terry was not someone she wanted to lose easily.
