Julia and Harlan had no choice but to apologize, even though they were unwilling.

Julia’s hatred was boiling inside.

This was the first time she had suffered such a huge loss.

She was the one being bullied. Why did she have to apologize?

Julia was unwilling to accept this.

Larissa, just wait. I’ll make your life miserable. You were already rotten in the mud. How dare you try to climb back up? You must be dreaming.

“Larissa,” Leonard asked gently, his voice full of concern. “They’ve apologized. Will you accept it?”

Morris smiled kindly at her. “Larissa, I was wrong before. Can you forgive Daddy?”

Killing them outright would be too easy.

What Larissa wanted was something slower. She wanted to take everything they valued away, piece by piece. Whatever they wanted most, she would take that first.

Only then would her anger truly fade.

“Daddy?” Larissa said calmly. “Mr. Turner, is that a joke? We cut ties a long time ago. Your daughter and your son are standing right there.”

Leonard froze. He never expected to hear her call him that. Does that mean his daughter had acknowledged him?
