The moment work was mentioned, Nelson’s eyes dimmed for a second. But he quickly recovered. He patted his chest and said, “Isaac, don’t worry. I’ll keep a close eye on him. If he dares to have any bad thoughts about Larissa, I won’t let him off.”
Early the next morning, after breakfast, Larissa put on her canvas backpack and rode in Nelson’s car to the Crown Hotel.
The medical symposium was being held there.
But the moment she reached the hotel entrance, she ran into someone she didn’t want to see–Julia.
Why is she here?
Julia also didn’t expect to see Larissa at a place like this. She twisted her waist and walked up to her with a smug look.
“Larissa, what a surprise to see you again. But today is an international medical symposium. Someone like you who hasn’t even gone to college, what right do you have to be here?” she said with a sneer. “Are you here to beg for support? Everyone here needs an invitation. Where’s yours? Don’t tell me you came all the way here without one.”
She looked Larissa up and down with contempt.
“Larissa, are you here to trick rich men or something?”
Larissa calmly reached into her canvas bag. She took out an invitation card and waved it in front of Julia’s face.
“Of course I have an invitation,” she said coolly. “Unlike some people who only know how to mock others.”
Julia’s face froze. A flash of jealousy appeared in her eyes.
“Hmph. So what if you have an invitation?” Julia snapped. “Can you even understand what they’ll talk about in there? Don’t embarrass yourself when the time comes.”
Before she could finish, Larissa suddenly raised her hand and slapped her.
Then she warned coldly, “Julia, how dare you slander me again? From now on, every time I see you, I’ll slap you once. You talk way too much.”
Julia was stunned by the slap. She stood there for a moment in shock. Then she covered her face and screamed. “Larissa! You dared to hit me! That’s assault!”
She trembled with anger and reached out, trying to grab Larissa.
“Do you even know who I am? You’re finished! If you offend me, I’ll make sure your reputation is ruined. And I’ll never let a useless nobody like you enter this place!”
Just then, an old man in his 50s walked over. He looked around coldly.
Chapter 347 Same Tricks
When Julia saw him, her eyes lit up. She hurried over and grabbed his arm, acting spoiled.
“Wallace, you’re finally here! She bullied me. You have to take revenge for me and kick her out!”
Wallace Clarke frowned. Then he looked at Larissa with a judging gaze.

“Miss, hitting someone at a medical symposium is against the rules,” he said coldly. “You bullied my mentec, so you must kneel and apologize to her. If you do that, I won’t pursue the matter any further.”
“Oh?” Larissa let out a mocking laugh.
“And who are you exactly?” she asked. “You didn’t even check what happened. You don’t know who is right or wrong, yet you jump in and interfere. Isn’t that a bit inappropriate?
“She slandered me first. I only gave her a small lesson. I’m not apologizing.”
What a joke.
Julia’s tricks were still the same as always–pretending to be innocent and pitiful.
