Larissa didn’t even look up. She ignored the comment like it was nothing and kept lying on her desk, fast asleep.

Daphne happened to be patrolling their class and saw everything that had just happened. It looked like the new transfer student was nothing like the rumors.

After class, Nancy grabbed Larissa’s arm and shook it excitedly.

You’re amazing, Larissa! Your Eshea pronunciation is perfect. How did you do that?

Alvin looked at her with real admiration.

I’ve decidedyou’re my boss now. I’m going to the school store. What do you want? I’ll bring it back.

I want a lollipop,Nancy said.

Icecold cola,” Larissa replied.

Alvin took off like the wind.

A few minutes later, he came back with a bottle of cold cola and a lollipop.

Larissa opened the bottle and took a long, satisfied sip.

Just as she was about to put her hands over her ears and go back to sleep, the homeroom teacher called her name and told her to go to the office.

Larissa stood up with clear annoyance and walked out of the classroom.

What does the homeroom teacher want with the boss?Alvin asked.

Judging by that look on her face, it can’t be anything good,Nancy said.

I swear, she’s a trouble magnet,” Alvin muttered. She’s only been here two days, and problems keep coming to her.

It can’t be helped,Nancy said seriously. Talented people always get targeted. Larissa is just too outstanding.”

Larissa followed the homeroom teacher to Tom’s office.

The moment she stepped inside, she saw Priscilla.

Chapter 38 frouble in the Office

Priscilla was different from the rest of the family. She was the most ruthless one,

Normally, she stayed behind the scenes. She rarely took action herself.

But since Julia and Harlan had both failed yesterday, was she stepping in personally this time?

Several other welldressed ladies were sitting beside Priscilla.

Daphne greeted him politely. Mr. Bowen, Larissa is here. You wanted to see her?

Tom felt like he had a few more gray hairs.

Ever since Larissa transferred to this school, he has had to see her almost every day.

As the principal of a topranked high school, his job had somehow turned into cleaning up her

messes.

Alright, Mrs. Turner,Tom said, rubbing his temples. You said you’re here as a parent representative. What exactly is the issue?

These parents really had nothing better to do.

Priscilla sat straight, dressed elegantly, every bit the rich and dignified lady.

Mr. Bowen, as a parent representative, I formally request that the school expel Larissa and remove her from Marcrest High.

She got into the school through connections. She only has an elementarylevel education. What right does she have to attend high school here?

On top of that, her character is questionable. She’s all over the internet right now, making headlines.

A student with such poor personal conduct is not qualified to stay at Marcrest High. Students like her lower the overall quality of the school.

How can we feel safe sending our children here if someone like her is allowed to stay?

Mr. Bowen, don’t let one bad apple ruin the whole basket.

The other parents quickly joined in.

Mr. Bowen, Mrs. Turner just said exactly what I want to say. I also demand that Larissa be expelled.
