Chapter 440 Side Story: She Hates Everyone
“It’s filthy here. The food is inedible. It’s freezing at night. People bully me.
“I’ll lose my mind if I stay here any longer.
“Matt, can you get me out right now?”
She made it sound as pitiful as she could.
In the past, any time she cried like this, Matt would agree to anything.
Matt listened, and his brow drew together.
“Floria, what did you actually do?
“I’ll get you a lawyer. I’ll do everything I can to get you out as fast as possible.
“If you were framed, I’ll get you the best lawyer in the country and clear your name.”
That wasn’t what she wanted to hear. He hadn’t agreed to get her out directly. Her sobbing got louder.
‘Matt, are you refusing too?
‘It was Larissa who called the police. She’s the reason I’m in here.
‘Get me out of here, and I’ll be your girlfriend. You’ve always wanted that, haven’t you?
“How can you leave me in here?”
Matt hadn’t realized she’d always known he had feelings for her.

Floria was going to scream.
Matt too? Matt had turned on me?
Something this small didn’t require a lawyer.
If he’d actually wanted to get her out, he could have just made a phone call.

His response meant he was choosing not to use them for her. It meant he wasn’t really here for her at all.
Men. All of them were the same.
She had pinned her last hope on him.
And he was just like the other two.
Floria watched him walk away and stamped her foot in rage.
The whole world had turned against her. The hatred in her chest for Larissa had become a tide she couldn’t hold back.
In this dim airless place, every hour was agony. Every minute was spent planning revenge on Larissa from the moment she got out.
If they wouldn’t help her, she would find her own way out, and she would have her revenge.
