Larissa walked out of the hospital. An assistant handed her the car keys and pointed at the luxury car that had brought her there.

“Ms. Larissa, this is Mr. Isaac’s car. Do you want to drive yourself, or should the driver take you?”

“I’ll drive myself,” Larissa said.

In her past life, she had lived in Eldercrown for a long time. She knew this city even better than Marcrest.

“This is Professor Berry, a physics professor at Eldercrown University and director of the Institute of Physics.

“This is Professor Salazar, a chemistry professor and head of the Institute of Chemistry.

“This is Professor Harding, a biology professor and director of the Institute of Biology.

“And this is Professor Snider, a medical professor and the president of Eldercrown University Hospital.

“The others are their top students. At first, only Professor Berry planned to come here, but once they heard you were back, everyone wanted to meet you.

“Two years ago, you graduated from the gifted program with dual degrees. The academic results you left behind still haven’t been surpassed.

“When they heard you came back to Eldercrown, they all wanted to meet you. And they have questions they want to discuss with you.”

Even when facing so many powerful figures, Larissa stayed calm.

She smiled politely and greeted everyone one by one.

Roft Berry spoke first.

“Ms. Sowle, your research in physics back then amazed us. We hope to hear your thoughts again.”
