Tim suddenly remembered something and let out a heavy sigh.

“Tomorrow is Larissa’s first time returning to her family. I hear Truman doesn’t like her and plans to leave her out of the family record. You two owe her a huge favor. Don’t you think you should show some support?”

Lionel patted his chest with confidence. “Leave it to me. Anything about Larissa is my business. My good- for–nothing mentee still has some standing at Eldercrown. I’ll send him tomorrow to back her up and make sure she’s treated with respect. And while they’re at it, I can match them up. Who knows? Maybe they’ll like each other.”

Vince refused to be left out. “I’ve got this too. My mentee is also well–known at Eldercrown. He’ll make sure Larissa looks good in public and make sure they treat her right. And they can meet as well. What if Larissa ends up liking my mentee instead?”

Meanwhile, Larissa was in the kitchen, carefully cooking seafood. She had no idea what the three of them were planning.
