Chapter 11
Sienna
I hopped in the taxi while mom continued to give me instructions on how to stay safe and alert.
“Relax mom, I’ll be fine” I said as I shut the door.
“Have fun and don’t do anything stupid”
“Pack reputation and all. Yeah, I get it” I told and asked the driver to hurry or mom would spend another fe minutes lecturing me.
She wasn’t very strict but ever since I came of age, dad began imposing some stricter rules though Mom was cool and only wanted me to return home safely which always happened.
“Who else is going with you? Is Aaron coming?”
“No but his brother is” The truth slipped out of my mouth before I could stop it but mom’s shoulders relaxed visibly.
“That’s good then. Have fun!”
I tried not to roll my eyes at her thinking I would be safe with Connor of all people but only waved my hand at her.
“Bye mom”
Only when the taxi had crossed the lane did I shove the scarf into my purse and dial Jane.
“Where are you?”
“On my way. The boys are already waiting at the club I sent you the address of.”
“At least tell me my date’s name and send me a photo of him if you can.”
I heard her slap her forehead. “Oh shoot, I dont have his pic but his name is Jake. He wears really tight clothes and is buff so you should have no issues finding him. I am also sending you his number.”
“Cool. Come soon.” I hung up and twenty minutes later was already outside the entrance to a fancy club
A line had already formed outside and bouncers stood on either side of the entrance, sticking a plastic band to the people before letting them in.
I looked around nervously and realized I hadn’t overdressed. Girls strutted around in impossibly high heels and really short dresses, a few already making our with guys even before entering the club.
I gave jane a call again but she didn’t receive it and instead sent me a text.
Got stuck in traffic. You go ahead.

Chapter 11
I debated standing all by myself but the crowd had started to thin with only a few left outside the entran
So I grudgingly went inside and was immediately welcomed with a blast of loud music and thumping be
If the crowd outside was eager, the people inside were ecstatic already. In the center of the huge club was dance floor where a few were already dancing and swaying ot the music.
I looked around to catch a glance of Jake but there were too many people here to take a good look.
I tried calling his number but it went straight to voicemail.
My gaze swept through the space and I noticed a staircase going up to the floors above made of glass walls. Thinking it would be a good idea to wait there, I began ascending the stairs and reached the first floor in no time.
There were far less people here and most were seated across massive booths, drinks in hand and laughing with each other instead of the crazy frenzy downstairs.
Perfect I thought and settled into one of the empty seats while glancing around. I was the only one sitting alone on the entire floor.
Feeling a little conscious, I dialled Jena’s number again.
“Where the hell are you?” I shouted, the moment she picked her phone.
“Uh, I might have run into a problem” She muttered and I immediately grew alert.
“What problem?”
“The taxi I took broke down in the middle of a stupid dirt patch because they have apparently closed the road. So, I might be late by another hour or so. I was thinking that maybe I should cancel.”
I got up from my seat, almost shouting at her on the phone.
“Don’t you dare do this to me, Jane! You are coming”
“But..”
“No but. Get your date to pick you up.”
Her voice suddenly turned hopeful. “That is actually not a bad idea. Let me call him.”
“Are you sure about it?” I asked, clutching my phone and slowly plopping back into my seat when I got a few curious looks from the others seated around me.
“Yes, in fact, Jake is the one who suggested the club because he is a regular there. Don’t worry, you are not getting stood up.”
I had been really looking forward to the double date and my grand plan of teaching Conrior a lesson so T guess I could wait a little.

Chapter 11
“He isn’t picking up either. Where is he?” I asked, placing a hand on my mouth to keep my voice low,
“My date, Nate, already told me that he is arriving any minute. Have fun and order something in the meantime. Goddess, I am hungry already”
She groaned and I chuckled. “Serves you right for trying to ditch me at the last minute.”
I could swear she stuck her tongue out at me.
“We will be there soon” She giggled and disconnected.
Okay, I could do this.
But where was he? He had been so annoying with asking me the venue and taunting me like usual but the was absolute silence ever since I arrived.
Had he chickened out at the last minute?
That thought made me smile to myself but not even a minute later, I heard three to four girls gasp dramatically as someone entered through the door.
I turned my head to see Connor walk in like he owned the damn club, dressed in black jeans and a leather jacket.
The girls suddenly all flocked to him but his gaze landed on me.
Fuck, if he saw me seated all alone, he would tease and taunt me to no end. I had to do something.
Thankfully, I saw a man enter right after him, wearing super tight clothes and looking really buff.
