The Wrong Brother's Temptation novel Chapter 125

Chapter 125

Sienna

The creep, Rory’s smirk widened, oily and triumphant, as he stepped even closer.

The scent of cheap cologne and alcohol rolled off him in waves, making my stomach turn.

His two friends hovered behind him like jackals, their masked faces leering with the same predatory hunger

Oh, I know exactly who you are,he said, voice low and mocking.

He pulled out his phone with a flourish, tapping the screen a few times before turning it toward me. The photo was grainy but unmistakably me at the resort, flushed and lost in pleasure.

I looked from him to his phone in shock.

Hadn’t Aaron spent a fortune to get all those photos deleted? Then how did Rory have them saved on his phone?

I blinked, willing it to be somebody else but it was most definitely me and the angle made me look like a hungry wanton, a girl desperate for pleasure.

Look at those faces you were making. The way you gave yourself away to some random resort employee like a desperate little slut. No respectable girl does that, sweetheart.”

“That is not meI stammered but he leaned forward, finger catching an idle lock of my hair that I hurriedly pushed back.

There’s no use lying to me, girl. You only dressed up like a princess but you are just a whore who spreads her legs for cheap resort men. Atleast, I am an alpha and I will give you good money as well as time.”

Shut up!I raised my hand and it connected with his cheek before I could stop myself.

The sharp sound of the slap rang through the balcony but the bastard only laughed.

My cheeks burned with humiliation. I tried to step back, but the wall was behind me. Delete that. Now.

He laughed, circling me slowly like a predator toying with prey. His fingers brushed my hair, then trailed down my arm. He leaned in, sniffing near my neck like an animal. Mmm. You smell even better up close. I can give you so much more than that resort nobody. Wealth. Pleasure. A real man who knows how to handle a woman like you.

I jerked my arm away when he tried to grab my wrist. Don’t touch me.

Who are you even saving yourself for? Your precious Connor wouldn’t even look at you if he saw these pictures. But tell you whatHis voice turned gravely. I dont mind a girl with some experience. I’ll keep you as my slave and you can make all the faces you want

He cackled maliciously and that emboldened his friends.

Rory, share her with us. We should all have a good time because this stupid party is getting very boring.

Panic surged through me. I looked desperately in the direction of the dining hall. Aaron and Sandra were still deep in conversation with the elders, laughing and completely absorbed. No one was paying attention to this corner.

Even Maria was nowhere to be found. I realized I was on my own so gathered my skirts and decided to just run but then Rory’s hand caught mine, his fingers digging into my skin.

Enough of your nonsense, bitch. You are going to satisfy all of us!

Chapter 125

He started dragging me toward the stairs to take me outside the mansion, his grip bruisingly hard.

I dug my heels in, heart pounding and screamed loudly for someone who wasn’t even here.

Connor!!!

Rory’s friend circled me and I had a feeling of deja vu like Aaron’s goons had tried to drag me away, only this time the possibility of them actually harming me seemed very real.

I struggled hard and the man had dragged me just a foot away when the door to the hall slammed open with a loud bang.

Every head in the room turned.

Connor stood in the doorway, looking lethally handsome in extravagant black and gold formal robes that screamed powe

His dark hair was slightly tousled, eyes blazing with barely contained fury. The scratch on his temple had reduced to a fan scar which was still visible, but it only made him look more dangerous.

Relief crashed over me so hard my knees nearly buckled. I yanked my arm free from the creep and ran straight to him.

Connor’s gaze locked on me the second I moved. His expression softened for the briefest moment, worry flashing across h face before hardening again as he took in my disheveled state.

I reached him, and without thinking I pressed close, my hands fisting in his robe. My heart was hammering against my che like war drums and I buried my face in his chest, inhaling the familiar scent of him, the warmth of him that told me I was safe.

The entire hall had gone silent following his arrival. Chairs scraped as people stood up to pay respect to the soontobe hei of the largest pack as urgent whispers rippled through the crowd.

Somewhere in the crowd, I also spotted Sandra’s friends, particularly Lily and her mother, whispering to each other urgently.

But Connor ignored them all.

He simply lifted one hand and cupped my cheek, thumb brushing gently over my skin.

Why do you look so ruffled, Speckles? His voice was low, meant only for me, but the concern in it was unmistakable.

I didn’t speak immediately, simply willed my heart to beat steady and buried my face even deeper in his chest to feel the steady beating of his heart.

Speckles? He asked again, his voice just a tad more concerned.

I regained my composure, swallowing the tears before I looked up at him. His eyes widened ever so slightly, searching my face.

I justmissed youI murmured, because that bit was true. I still did not pull my hands away from him. He didn’t seem to push me away either though I had creased his perfectly ironed clothes.

His thumb continued to trace slow circles on my cheek as he lifted my face.

And I am here now. Did I tell you that you look exactly how I imagined in this dress? There’s just one tiny difference though He said, still not believing me.

What?I asked in a small voice.
