Chapter 62
Sienna
“Just, give me a second.” I spoke to him, took a picture of Peter and sent it to Connor.
I saw the blue tick appear in the blink of an eye and then at first, I expected him to explode.
But nothing happened.
For a second, I almost felt like I sent it to someone else so I doubled checked.
And slapped my hand on my forehead.

I had stupidly sent the photo to Aaron AND Connor somehow and Aaron had seen it already but Connor hadn’t.
Aaron called almost immediately.
“Having fun at the resort are you?” He asked the moment I received.
“Yeah I guess” I answered dryly.
“Though I have no idea why you would send a random guy’s photo to me. What’s going on?”
“nothing. I was clicking pictures of the pretty view and accidentaly sent that.”
The lie wasn’t convincing but he didn’t press further.
“Good that you called, Sia. I wanted to talk to you about today morning. I am just so caught up in a big mess and wanted to talk to you but then Sandra and her friends wanted my attention.”
“L…understand” I replied.
“No, I am sorry. Things are getting so weird between the two of us. I can feel you are growing distant from
me.”
He used that soft voice of his that always managed to melt my heart.
“You have a girlfriend now, Aaron. Of course, you would be spending more time with her.”
“But that doesn’t mean you spend it with Connor, Sia. He is not good for you.”
Oh, we were back at this topic already?
“Can we please not talk about this, Aaron? You were busy you said so go back to work. I gotta go.”
I tried to hang up but he stopped me. “No Sia, please don’t do this to me. Whenever I mention him, you get angry or shut me down. It’s like you are punishing me for getting a girlfriend and spending all your time with the man we both hated in childhood.”

Chapter 62
It was the truth to an extent.
“I am just having fun. Aaron.”
“Fun? Connor doesn’t do fun, Sia. He uses and throws people away. He is selfish, arrogant and…”
Just when he was talking, I heard a string of messages pop up on my phone.

“Aaron, I’ll talk to you later” I hurried disconnected and saw that all of them were from Connor asking me to pick up the phone.
When I did, Connor was roaring.
“Tell him to stay the fuck away from you.”
For a second, I wondered why he would say that of Aaron but then opened his texts that wanted to wipe Peter off from the face of the earth.
Somehow, that made me smile like a devil.
“Nuh–uh.” I replied. “You are nobody to tell me what to do or not to do. I am my own person, right Peter?”
I looked at Peter who had been waiting patiently beside me and nodded enthusiastically.
“Yes miss.”
“So Peter, what types of services do you specialize in?”
I asked, with my phone still close to my ear but ensuring Connor could hear it all.
“I can give regular massages, help your mind and body detox. But if you want premium specialized services, I can give that too.”
“Speckles, I’m warning you…” Connor began but I ignored him and continued talking to Peter.
“And what type of specialized services are those?” I asked, trying not to giggle.
“Oh, I can give a body to body massage, I can be yours for the day.” He said, his smile turning suggestive at the end of the line. “Of course, only if you are comfortable with it. We place high emphasis on ensuring our client is…”
I couldn’t hear whatever he said next because Connor was shouting.
“Be yours for the day???”
Connor was going to turn me deaf at this rate.
“I have very strong hands, and stamina. You won’t be disappointed, miss.”
“Speckles, don’t you dare..” Connor was breathing like an angry bull now.

“Can you like give me a demo?” I asked Peter who hurried over immediately, his hand resting on my feet.
Where would you like me to start?” Peter asked.
“Feet would be nice” I answered him and he sat in front of me while Connor muttered a string of curses I ensured Peter wouldn’t hear.
“Sorry, one sec,” I said into the phone, and made a show of settling back against the pillows and making a small appreciative sound as Peter began working on my calves.
“Oh, that’s–yeah.” I let out a slow breath. “Sorry, Connor, you were saying?”
“I was saying…” He stopped. “Wait, what is he doing to you?”
“He’s starting with my calves,” I said conversationally. “Standard, apparently. Works up from the feet.” I let out another sound, small and satisfied.
“He has genuinely excellent technique.”
“Sienna!!” I think I heard something crash loudly behind him but I wasn’t too sure.
To his credit, Peter truly was good at massaging.
“Mm?” The specialist had moved slightly, and I said to him, quietly but audible to the phone, “That’s perfect, just there…” and then back to Connor: “Sorry. Where were we?”
“Are you serious right now?”
